Easy and Fun Phone Shop

I'm sure most of you get the emails for the fun and easy cell phone shops regularly. They seem to typically pay between $10-$15 each. Although I am currently a full-time shopper, I've never conducted a cell phone shop. It seems to me that every time I have ever been inside a cell phone store (for personal reasons), I always have to wait a long time for assistance. So I'm curious, what is everyone's experiences regarding these types of shops? Thanks.

for ME they are 4 thumbs down UNLESS it's GREAT pay....$35.00+.....when i was first shopping I did so many, but now....not so much
I absolutely hate doing them, but I do them if they fit into my schedule. They are pretty easy for me because I always seem to get the guy who doesn't want to do his job.. so I'm in and out in 20 minutes with little to report.
Yeah, the pay is too low for me. But sometimes they come in highly bonused and it makes me reconsider. I'm mostly wondering if it is common to have to wait a long time for service.
The cell phone shops can get a little boring but I find the report simple and not time consuming. The worst part is waiting if there is a new promotion and there are lots of customers. I think the stores are busier at lunch time and after people get out of work so the best time to get there is when they first open if you want to get in and out quickly. Not exciting but easy.
Hate them with a passion. However, I will do them if bonused well, and sometimes not bonused, depending on how hungry I am.
Thanks for all the great info. I think I will continue to not shop the cell phone companies unless desperate!
I'm fairly new and thinking about adding them in because they are all over the place like mushrooms sprouting in damp places, so I figure they could be easily added into wherever I'm wandering around to on a given day.

I did 1 AT&T. the form was short and sweet.

My downside is that I have a simple pay as you go "simple phone"

I saw T-Mobile listings, are they easy?

I'm trying to dodge narratives, when possible.
I don't think they're as easy as the AT&T shops. They have some narrative not to bad. If there is a shop in your area try one out.
They are not the most fun shop to do, but I find myself signing up for them if I will be in that area anyway. There is no money you have to spend in store, which to me is a bonus.

I do love the AT&T ones from a certain company, the report is super easy. I do prefer to do those when they are bonused, $8 is not much to go in, talk to someone, pretend I am interested and then have to ask for a business card.
I like the AT&T ones as well, although as a previous poster pointed out, you can spend 30 minutes waiting only to be waited on at the last second and have to spend even more time on it. However that doesn't happen often. I pick them up whenever I'm going somewhere anyway, they are nearly always available, they are (mostly) quick and easy and they add a little extra to the pot.

I haven't done any of the others.
