Gapbuster: How would I know when my shop is accepted or not?

Recently, I tried to do my first two shops for Gapbuster (mystery shop in general). I shopped for Apple smartphones and tablet. At that time I punctually submitted my reports. That was a couple of weeks ago. Gapbuster pays every month's end I know but how would I know if I am going to get paid for those shop? Do they send e-mail confirmation of validated and invalidated shops?

Thank you.

Hi hommecolore,

Would you please send me a PM and let me know your shopper code?

I will explain to you via email.

Thanks,
Dannie

I'm curious why this has to be a PM. A public post on this thread might be very helpful to some members.

I am more than happy to explain about how the payment works publicly on this thread. I asked for a PM so that hommecolore do not need to disclose his shopper code here. I will provide further information about payment in the next reply.

Hi All,

To check if you will be paid for the assignments you completed, you may refer to the assignment status on "My Assignments" page on our shopper portal. If the assignment is accepted and due to be paid, the status will show as ‘Approved-Result Submitted’ in ‘My Assignment’.

In the event where your assignments were invalidated, you will received an invalid notification from us stating the reason of rejection.

Should you have any questions relating payment of your assignments, feel free to contact us via Shopper Enquiry function on the shopper portal.

Thanks,
Dannie
Now I'm really confused. Dannie has given a great answer to the OP's question, a very generic answer which applies to all shoppers.

Why would the OP have been required to PM a company rep, giving his shopper number, compromising his anonymity on this forum, when the above public answer has the information that the OP and others can use to see if shops are accepted or not?
Hi AustinMom,

I have no intention to compromise the OP or any of our shoppers' anonymity on this forum. The reason why I had asked for a shopper code in the first place is so that I can pass on the case to the relevant market's manager/shoppers team for further investigation.

We often come across situations where shoppers' payment were not processed successfully and/or delayed due to incomplete banking details or the banking details were inputted past cut off time. Thus, we always ask for a shopper code when dealing with any complaints related to payment. With that, we would be able to look into the shopper's profile and identify if there were any missing details that will affect the shopper being paid successfully.

I hang around this forum to pick out any shopper's issue/query that were not resolved through our standard channels, however the relevant shoppers team will need to be make aware and address the shoppers issues in their market accordingly.

Hope I clarify.

Regards,
Dannie
