Politics and Mystery Shopping

In Canada, I don't care what religion a politician is as long as he's doing his job. Likewise, I care not a fig what political affiliation a company has when I am simply doing a task they are paying for. I expect them to keep politics out of it and so will I.

One can only hope.
Also I am a veritable fountain of useless factoids.
I wish I could remember an interesting one now.

You have a particular political position as regards a toupee? Interesting politics you practice, bgriffin. <g>
We have another one - care not a fig. Googled it and couldn't find the origin. It did say it was old fashioned.
I'm sticking with I don't care a politicians butt.

I don't understand this comment. To whom is this directed?
I don't understand quite a few of the last comments. I thought it was just because I'm slow. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

Did you actually count 257 pigeons? Maybe you missed a couple.

bgriffin must have been there to do a parking lot audit. Of course he is sure. He got paid a whopping $12 to count all of them.

If I am recalling correctly way back to when I was young, fig is short for frig (but usually friggin) which is code for another 4 letter word starting with an f. Some of us grew up in an era where kids did not curse with real curse words.
Nonsense liberal rhetoric here?? Please, if companies did not make profits, they could not afford to pay us to report on their services ... Get a grip ... if they were forced to spread their wealth you would not have the opportunity to work for them, you can choose to sign up for welfare instead, if that is what you prefer!

Let me get this straight, then. I'm chastised as a new poster for daring to imply that the healthcare bill was passed without reading, but it's okay for certain long-term posters to make disparaging comments about other people's religious and political choices? Different rules for different people, eh? Sounds like a certain political party.

It's my understanding that they no longer read bills just the highlights or lowlights as the case may be. Or they don't even do that they just vote the way the $$ donors tell them.

Ah yes, you are talking about the federally mandated self-imposed censorship of the early TV age. Married people slept in twin beds. Because that might lead to implying that sex happens in the bedroom. Print media was just a little better a whole lot of biscuit eaters and sons of. Then the sixties hit and it all went to heck in a hand basket.
