Five Guys shakes and receipts

Does the shake have to be on the same receipt as the rest of the food, or can it be a separate receipt with both receipts in one photo. I've already done it where I order everything together on one receipt. But, today I am going alone and it would make more sense if I buy the regular three things and then go back to order the shake as an after thought.

It will be within the same visit, but I'll order the three things, eat them, and then decide, "Oh, I think I want to try one of the shakes....."
I've done it that way before with no problem. I normally take the shake home to one of my kids, so I order it at the end to go.

Just order it and get it prepared after you're done with your meal. You're thinking about it too much...

No, I am not thinking about it too much....I have also done it your way. I'm just trying to find out it I am able to do it ANOTHER WAY, in two transactions, and still get reimbursed.
I've done it both ways. No problems either way.

Edited to add: It's actually a bit easier to do it on two separate receipts because the way the questionnaire asks for the totals if you've got them on two separate receipts with the tax and stuff calculated separately it's less math for you.

I always order the shake when I order the meal so it's on the same receipt. Never had a problem.
When in doubt ask the MSC via the link in their website. I always have gotten a quick reply. For instance, I asked about using coupons for this shop and was told "no". It's good to have the answer to your question in writing in case there is an issue after the shop is completed.
I emailed the MSC and you are allowed to do two transactions and upload it into one photo.
Yes, I always just order and pay for it all at the same time and let the cashier know I want the shake prepared after I am done eating (for my dessert). In my opinion, this is probably a lot less suspicious than getting your shake and soda at the same time.
They *could* but they would be violating the non-disclosure agreement they signed when applying with the company. They would also be violating the only rule of this forum.
