Trying to cancel shops, Scheduler ignoring me

Hi shoppers!

I need to cancel my shops for a legitimate reason. Long story short, I am taking time off from my day job and mystery shopping. I emailed the Scheduler but have not heard back from him in a day and a half. I explained what had happened, and what I offered as a solution.

As it's been a day and a half, and the shops are due this week, Wednesday-Friday, what would you do? I think it's pointless to email him again. Would you get in touch with the MSC owner at this point?

Yes. And I would explain having emailed the scheduler with no response as well as the issue. They need to know ASAP so hopefully they can find someone else to do the work.
You did your end and the ball is on THEIR court. I personally wouldn't worry about it if the scheduler's dropping the ball and just keep your email sent to them in file, just in case.

I would send one more email making sure that I copied myself on the email so I have PROOF that I contacted the scheduler. Otherwise it's your word against theirs and guess who wins.

Why one more? She already sent an email to the scheduler about cancelling and didn't receive a reply from the scheduler.

I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt and send a second email. The reason is sometimes emails are delayed or routed to spam where they could easily be missed.

I agree with @Flash that contacting someone higher up at the MSC is a good idea, but would be careful not to
make your message about the scheduler's failure to get back to you.

Simply state that you want to reiterate your regret that you won't be able to complete the assignments, and that you are following up your earlier message to ensure the MSC is able to reschedule them in time.
True, but of course "normally' we would follow up at least once inquiring about the non response. Exactly CapitalJay.
Agree totally! I've been doing that. Last night, my weird P.O. job in the stix was confusing. I emailed the scheduler and got an auto reply, not in the office for awhile.. so, I emailed a secondary gal that assisted me recently as well. She knew the drill. I ALWAYS forward to the secondary person, so the first and second KNOW I did as much as I could. Also, I ALWAYS type in date and time.

No I did not call the scheduler and leave a voicemail...but only because speaking is extremely painful (I broke my ribs), hence why I'm off work and cancelling my shops.
