Priority Mail rates have gone up

For those of you who shipped Hazmat with a surcharge, if you did in fact use USPS and not UPS or some other carrier (double check your receipt to make sure as the last place I went was about to price mine as UPS but I could see the screen since he was on my side of the counter and informed him I did not want UPS) let us know if you found out from the msc what we should do if the price is so high. I would think they would make some sort of arrangements for us if we have to pay $19 for a $10 reimbursed shop when we follow all the rules and are shipping to zone 5. They may not be aware of how high the charge is.
Schedulers if you are reading this can you let us know what we should do if our package is accepted at a huge surcharge. I do not think most of us want to get stuck with a surcharge that eats up most of our entire fee.

The scheduler is talking to the company to see how they want to handle the shop I aborted. The price was definitely for USPS priority. I didn't ask about the $13 one I completed (it was sent USPS priority ). I'll update when I hear
Myst4au- Yes, it was a competitor shop. And yes, I shipped via USPS Priority. The receipt states priority mail and gives me the USPS tracking number.
I did 4 competitor hazmat shops that day and only once was asked the hazmat question, and refused the shipment, so I bought stamps. The other 2 locations shipped for $11ish, which is what I expected.
Same thing happened to me - I shipped USPS priority and the overage was over $5. The scheduler said that reimbursement was only to $10. I don't understand how I follow the guidelines and have to pay the additional. If this was something that I wanted to ship I wouldn't care; but, this is just a shipment going to zone 5 because thats where they say I have to ship. I assume thats why there are so many of these out there because I am losing half of my shopper fee.
