Scheduler Woes

I had a shop during which I experienced something frightening, although nobody was hurt as far as I know. The report for the shop seems to stress that they want accurate but slightly vague details, as certain information would identify me as a shopper. I filled out the report as much as I could and sent an e-mail to the scheduler, asking how the mystery shopping company would prefer that I enter the rest of the report. It is now closing in on the 24-hour mark, the shop is already technically overdue, I have never worked with this scheduler in the past, and I am concerned that the shop will simply be excluded and I will not be paid. I'm also concerned that the client may not receive potentially important information because of this. Any suggestions, fellow mystery shoppers...? Thanks in advance.....

Isn't there at least some field for an "overall overview of your visit" narrative, even if it's short at 3-4 sentences? Can you enter it in there at least and submit the rest of the report? Odds are, an editor would follow-up with you if more details are required. Or, did this incident impact the rest of your shop reporting, and you were unable to finish the shop because of the incident?
I'd fill it in as much as you can and then submit it. Let the editor decide how it needs to be changed. They will contact you if they need something further. Scheduling departments and editing departments are rarely in close communication, so right now it probably just looks like a late report.
It depends on the company and whether the system is designed to drop shops or the shop would need to be manually removed. If you are afraid it will drop, submit the report as is while continuing to reach out to the scheduler or whoever else you can at the company. I don't know what you mean by closing in on the 24 hour mark. Usually 24 hours will work out to be late the following night, so midnight tonight. Maybe give the MSC through the close of business today to respond before submitting.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

I meant that it has been almost 24 hours since the shop was done, and the report was due within 12.

Anyway, I did finally hear back from the scheduler. It sounds like they will still be able to use the shop; they just wanted me to be careful about how I wrote it up. The report is submitted. I'm expecting to be paid but won't work with this company again if I'm not. Thanks, everybody!
Glad you heard back. Let us know how it goes from here.

Forgot to update on this one. I received a 9/10 on the shop and am getting paid. The deduction may have been for a phone call to the MSC (some don't like phone calls) and/or for editing. I even have a few more shops scheduled with this client, but I won't return to the same location again. I think they understood.
