There's a shop that's been posted all month long at $20 that I "could" do on my way home by Friday, which is the deadline (supposedly). But it's never been listed with a bonus--not now and not in the many months that I've seen it come and go on the job board. I've always thought it was low for the amount of work required, so I won't touch it for $20. I'm thinking if it's still available tomorrow, I'll write and ask for a $15 bonus, with the shop to be done on Friday. Maybe it will fly.
The same shop is available in a different location, too far from me, also "desperately" needing to be done. And they're offering a whopping $5 bonus on that one.
I don't understand why these companies don't offer bonuses on shops like this that are clearly hard to fill at base rate, or because there aren't enough shoppers in the area to keep the rotation intact....
I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
