What part of "Can I see the instructions" is too hard for the Scheduler to comprehend?

I reply to shops like this as follows;. We do not have a meeting of the minds until I see details of the assignments. I reserve the right to cancel without penalty when I see your requirements and fee you are offering. With that understanding I conditionally accept the shop.

(You know it is a stinker if they will not give details. Like take this box across the street and I will pay you $50 ,,When you accept they tell you that you have to set your hat on fire because you must do it at night.

I decided to unsubscribe from them because their jobs are loathsome anyways. Low pay, will not provide instructions and word from people who did perform the shop felt violated because the time was double what the company said. When several Shoppers are disgusted feeling they got tricked, are still waiting for their checks after three months my life is not hurting by disregarding them.

I know that phrase / song. It's in Living for the City, Stevie Wonder. Great oldie.
Earlier this week, I received a personalized e-mail from a scheduler asking if I'd do a shop that was "just around the corner from me." Well, first of all, it's really 20 miles from me, one way. But I'll be in the general area several times over the next week, and even though the shop would normally be out of my way, I can "make it be" on my way home by going a different (longer) route. So, I responded and said that I could "probably" do it, but would like to see the full shop guidelines first. Let's face it, for $15, I'm not going too far out of my way unless the shop is easy-peasy. But the published description is extremely vague.

Never even got a reply. The job is off the board, so I assume they found another sucker (er, shopper) to take it. Or a shopper who could easily add it to a route.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
