Sinclair needs new shoppers!

Watch for the new client fabric moving here from another.....

but the shop is a purchase and return of CUT fabric.
Most stores will not accept that as a return.

I saw that today and wondered about it. I have never shopped at that fabric store, but both the other fabric stores I shop at will not accept fabric back once it's been cut.
I have shopped there on my own, and no cut fabric returns....they'll be in for surprise!!

I guess we don't have this store. In fact, unless it is Walmart (which I doubt), we have no national stores that carry fabric here. :-)

But I am curious about this. Is the MSC going to reimburse the shopper for the fabric that cannot be returned upon return, or are they going to have the shopper take it out of their fee? If the latter, does the fee compensation for the P/R and the fabric?

I don't think anyone wants to be the first one to do this...probably instead of a purchase, you can buy a small something for the return. they won't take the fabric back, but the client might want to see how this is handled,if I were to do it, I'd get a fabric cutting I like, and have a pillow made.

What I'm confused about though is doesn't the client decide on the scenario? Wouldn't the client know their business does not accept cut fabric returns?
As I stated previously, we don't have such a store here, so I cannot see the shop...but I am wondering if they are looking to see how they treat customers who try to do this?

do they want to see if the store allows a pattern or a cut fabric return in violation of their policy?

Even if none of those shops are in your area, the details still should pop up in your briefing section.
Hahahaha. Dumb me! I never thought of that. I never take the tests for stores they don't have here. I guess I will go look.

That prompts the question, are all their briefings visible to all shoppers across the US? If I recall correctly, this might not be so.
You are correct, Mert. I just went to look at it, but I cannot see it as we don't have them here.

Too much speculation. Call 800-600-3871 CST and ask for the scheduler assigned to that client. They are quite accessible.
You are taking all the fun out of it.

Well, I did not know that. I always assumed everyone could see briefings for all their clients because about 3/4 of the clients whose briefings I can see do not have locations anywhere within my 60 mile radius.
I'm finding it hard to get paid. Also, I had asked the scheduler how to enter my numbers which were 1 digit shorter than the report required. By the time she got back to me and I got back from a day of other shops, my assignments to report on were gone. I had done the shops but now was not allowed to enter the data because too much time had passed. It was because I had trouble with the data entry but that didn't matter. The scheduler was nice enough to offer me a bonus to do one of them over again. I entered it successfully. However, I have never been paid for it and it is not in my history. It too has disappeared. Now I have a new dealership shop that I did in June, there were problems with the business card upload but they didn't tell me that until August. Just now I got an email that shops over 90 days old don't get paid. It hasn't been 90 days, it has been 74 days. You can bet I'll be calling them tomorrow. All but one of my shops has been a complete hassle or has disappeared. Out of 5 shops I did for them only one has been paid. Never again will I take a job with this company. Be very careful if you do.
I use Internet Explorer and never had a problem with them.
I am glad to see all your comments, as I also use Firefox sometimes, but I will avoid it with this MSC
Yes, I have had a couple of issues with report entry. Blew up the report once when I had about 5000 characters of text and the space would only take 3000 or some such and there was never a warning of text size maximum. (Hey, they EMPHASIZED DETAIL, DETAIL, DETAIL and they got it.) My latest blow up of a report they indicate was due to copy/paste into the form, though I am skeptical as I almost always write my narrative in word and paste it in. But they have never rejected a shop and I have never not gotten paid. I was most recently paid 8/30 for shops done in July. They can be a PITA, but always found they would work with you to try to get a shop that went south acceptable to the client rather than reject it.
