Has anyone seen any Five Guys shops lately?

I have not seen a Five Guys shop on the board in over a month, maybe longer. Has anyone seen any of these shops lately? smiling smiley

There are a bunch of them on the Job Board, along with the wireless shops. That's about all that's available here........
I have never seen one on my list yet I have gotten asked about them on the phone. For some reason I am blocked for them - even though I have never done one or attempted to apply,

Everyone has a photographic memory. Some just forget to load the film.
I did one with a bonus yesterday.

I really hate the report though because it doesn't allow you the freedom to report your true experience. The questions railroad you into boxes and if you have an experience outside of the box....good luck describing it in 300 characters or less.

I have a question though as this has happened two times so far. Do you consider the crew and/or manager breaking out into song when working professional? I'm not sure if it's the vibe 5 Guys is going for or if yelling a chorus to a song is "unprofessional" in the 5 Guys world.
If they are singing while they are working, with the muzak and it is a 'family friendly' song, I interpret it as enthusiastic at work. If they are singing and dancing around and not working it is 'unprofessional'.
I've only done this shop twice at the same location. On the first they were singing and yelling out,...very friendly like. I considered it the vibe there they wanted. The 2nd shop a year later no one sang or yelled out but they were still friendly.
So perhaps they changed their rules. I seem to recall the rule a while back telling you this was supposed to happen.
They have difference groups. Most likely they had a email bounce from your provider so turned off the clients that side handles. This happened to me. I called plus emailed and they fixed it for me.

I don't think the purpose of this shop is to evaluate the restaurant.

The crew have always been well behaved in the the shops I did. There was one occasion though when one staff stayed in the upstairs Unisex washroom for so long. When he came out carrying his red uniform, we were surprised. His crew members who saw him come out broke into noisy laughter. The diners who were waiting were annoyed.
I kind of feel like many of their report forms railroad you into clicking boxes. There are things I would like to comment on, and not even a particularly rude comment. Just comments such as "Employee answered the phone with her bare hands and then proceeded to the kitchen to cook food without washing her hands or putting on gloves" but alas.. unable to report.

All I have now is a Roast Beef shop, and some pamper your self-shop that pays nada.
Well! It just became Friday 08-12-2016 8 minutes about or so ago. So are they using GMT for the clock? Why not use EST.

I guess I shopped them out! Oh well...tongue sticking out smiley
I have three scheduled this month. Maybe ask someone to check for assignments in your radius, on their log on.
Yup. Still all over my board and every once in a while, I get a call from the folks to take on remote locations too. At this point, I'll only take it if bonuses are given to me.

A bunch on the board through 9-4 in Indianapolis.

It seems like here they come in bunches. They might have 5 on the board at one time and then nothing for a while. tongue sticking out smiley

There are questions that clearly ask about using gloves as well as appropriate behavior. If you indicate there was an issue, there is a comment box to provide details. There are also two comment boxes at the end of the report that allow us to provide additional details as to our ratings and experience.

Why is this thread being hijacked by taking it off topic?

The OP is missing relevant responses.

Please stay with the subject: Where are all the Five Guys Shops? Thanks.

it seems that i am the only one that does stay on topic unlike wayyyy toooo mannny others that just blather onandonandonandon with mindless drivel that has nada to do with the topic at hand.

and with respectful, thoughtful postings, too.

i will show myself out now.
Meh. Staying on topic is boring. But then again I'm an ENFP so topics are kind of bleh to begin with.

excellent attribute to have (said without snark, which might be somewhat of a first for me).

and...an understander of enfp (interesting attribute, imho)
Warning: this post is way off topic. ENFP career matches include Actor and Writer-- perfect combination of skills for an MSer. I'm INTJ, which might explain why I enjoy playing the angles and handicapping shops. Maybe there's something to Myers Briggs stereotyping (ahem, analysis) after all.
Warning: this post is way off topic. living in utah is a unique (a word used by a lot of canadians cuz canucks are pure vanilla) experience,
@parkcitybrian, ....living in utah is...
Nah. The off-topic topic is Myers Briggs, not geography. go derail a different a thread; this one's taken smiling smiley
They are on the boards depends on your area....it will not say the name but if you see a 12.00 fee you know that its the burger shop
