Testing center shops: How extensive is the report?

For anyone who has done the testing center shops where you purposely fail the GMAT, how extensive is the report? Is it long? How is the narrative (short or extensive)? Thanks in advance.

I just did one on Saturday. The report took 30 minutes at most.

Shopping & Auditing Western Colorado, North Denver, the Central Rockies ~~~ and all stops leading to Aspen & Vail.
It has been some time since I did the GMAT Testing Center Shop(s), but I remember the narratives being pretty straight forward. I just completed 3 MCAT Testing Center Shops, different MSC, and for those there were 4 narratives, 1 after each section: Registration, Security Check, Exam Room Experience and Exit Experience. If I remember correctly the GMAT Report was similiar. There may have been one more or one less narrative. However, they do not ask you for a novel. Just the usual, address all no answers, and maybe give some support for yes answers when appropriate. For example, why did you answer that the exam proctor was professional in there dealings with you?

What I didn't like about the gmat was that you have to try to talk the testing center person into helping you cheat.

Yep. Same for me. Easy peasy

Hmm. Good to know before I apply for the assignment. Need to think about this one. Thanks so much.
I had one last week. The report took me 20 minutes or less.

I found the report easy as well. The bulk of the time is spent at the testing center, failing the test as I had to stay at mine for an hour I believe.
Yes, the report for the GMAT testing center was pretty easy, much easier than I thought! The pay was really worth it - the only "bad" part of the shop was to sit through 4.5 hours minimum of the test - I tried to answer the questions, I felt dumb not knowing anything winking smiley otherwise, worth the money!
I would be pulling out my hair if the test required four and a half hours on site. I hope it paid at least $180.

I just did the MCAT shop. The only thing I found extensive was having to do a report with the client, then do almost tge same report with the MSC.
There is only one report required for the MCAT. The information required on the MSC site was even quicker. They only wanted you to report if there was something that happened during the shop that was unusual, and if there was any suggestions for improving the process. The rest was radio keys and an upload. Which in my case was already done for me by the MSC. My 'report' on the MSC site was 2 sentences long. I do not know where you got the idea that you were reporting the complete shop on both the MSC and Client sites? Did you have different requirements for your shop? If so that would be just redundant. The Editor, Edits the report you filled on the Client site, so why would you need to write it all over again on the MSC Site? I guess I am confused by your statement.

Must you take these to fail? If so, does your score get removed from the testing center's database afterward?

Now scheduling travel shops for the day after Christmas through mid-January.
I wondered about those, what if you took it and passed? Can you use the results?

Red Lobster and Olive Garden are NOT fine dining!
I did one of these shops a couple of months ago. The hard part was staying for the duration of the test (45 minutes).

I was instructed to fail the test. The guidelines also state that you shouldn't do the shop if you plan to take the real test soon after. I don't think your score gets deleted and you have to wait a certain amount of time to retest.

My test was the ASHI exam.

As it was explained to me your score does not count. Even if you passed you would not get credit. With the MCAT you actually void your score at the end. With the GMAT, that exam is not a Pass/Fail its a matter of degree, similiar to the SATs. Either way if you want to take the exam for real, you have to do it under a seperate account, registration or whatever they call it. Your shopper file is not usable for showing your credentials, no matter how well you do on the exam.
