What is the usual pay for Merle Norman shops?

I did a Merle Norman shop and forgot to write down the pay. I can't find a record of the exact amount on this MSC's website since I've submitted the receipts but haven't yet been paid. Is this information somewhere on my acct on the website, and I'm just not seeing it, or can someone please tell me what is the usual fee? I'm thinking it was $17.50 or $18.50??

$17.50. smiling smiley
If you go to your section where you submit your report and receipts, select that you want to submit your cpi/signature (even though you already have) and it will tell you what the shop fee and reimbursement was.

I never print mine. It's such a waste of paper!

I'm taking it you didn't print your CPI?
I tried to do that, but it doesn't seem to work now that this MSC has changed their website. The only thing I see is, "There are no open assignments found." And, thank you, SunnyDays. $17.50 sounds right.

A couple of points: I did not ask if you printed your *** because I think it would be a dead giveaway regarding the MSC. The second thing I learned when I signed up on this forum: "Always print your ***. smiling smiley
Well it certainly was a surprising dead giveaway to me...and now I am sitting here feeling left out because I have never seen that shop in my market and I do work for that msc.

Depending on the MSC, I print out the CPI, the invoice, or a 1-page "cover sheet" for EVERY shop. After I submit the shop, I staple the receipts, my notes taken during/after the shop, and the 1 page print out all together; I write the $$$ and payment due date and the MSC on the front (in BIG letters, so I can see it, LOL!). I then place those in the box labeled with the year.

I do that so in future years, should I ever be audited, I have proof positive of the miles I've driven and my reimbursements (which don't generate taxable income, but unfortunately are often mixed in with taxable payments on 1099's).

I have been audited before. I rest easy knowing I am prepared.

However, one caveat: I only average about 20 shops a month. You guys who do 20, 40, 50 shops a WEEK would soon need another box...and another....and another....

In addition, I am prepared to quickly answer any questions that come back from QC, or for clarification, or for whatever reason. I just pick the required report out of the box, check my notes, and answer the question.

I haven't done them for years but mine always paid like $8, maybe 12... I don't think I've ever had a shop fee that paid .50. Strange stuff.

I've done it once, in my hometown, for the MSC mentioned. I point out that it was in my hometown because I would have seen it come up again if it was available. Also, there was no purchase involved.
I completed one tonight for $17.50. I was really impressed that Merle Norman has the line for cancer patients/survivors. What a nice option for ladies.

Shopping up and down the Colorado Rocky Mountain front range.
