This is a sedan...when my daughter was visiting in March, she rented a Mustang Convertable, talk about sporty!!
Drove through Malibu canyon, top down, so much fun.....this is a family car, not a sports car.

Oh, I had to drive the Audi A4 sedan when I did that shop. Any car that can be driven that fast on the Autobahn is sporty. Though a Mustang might LOOK sporty, I wouldn't trust a Mustang or most American cars on the Autobahn. The Audi is designed to stop at a high speed safely (if you hit something and crash, you might live).

Edited because my memory did not serve me correctly, been awhile since I did the shop.

Okay, I am going to do my convenience store shops, which involves driving less than 5 miles, making 5 stops, and making $50. I'll be home in 45 -60 minutes. See ya!
I'm having a dry week. Lots of applications out but nothing scheduled this entire week. I'm antsy!
lucky7, are you doing the weekly audit or the evaluation?

When I was shopping full time, I did the weekly audit for two different locations. For a bonus, I did a third. That was fun since Aldi is my favorite grocery store.

Today I did a 'to the trade' tool shop and finished up a (phone call) investment company evaluation.

Two city garages, one mortgage phone shop and making appointment for a video apartment shop. Lunch with a shopper buddy downtown.

Two highly bonused easy shops. Cell phone and rental center. Easily exceeding my quota for the day.
Bank of WalMart and O'Charlie's.

Uggggg. Well I was going to do Bank of WalMart and O'Charlie's but then it seems I busted a radiator hose because of a big chunk of 18 wheeler tire I ran over. Sooooo no lunch and my car is in the shop for a $260 repair.

I had one bank shop and one post office shop. I have done several of each before so the reports should go quickly. I have nothing else scheduled. I am no longer able to access jobslinger and that used to be very helpful for me. I will have to try again.
Oh griff, I am so sorry to hear. How in the heck did a piece of tire you ran over bust a radiator hose? It got up into your engine and did that? No other damage, I hope. Too bad they don't have more auto repair mystery shops available.

I did my small route of convenience store shops and had time to squeeze in my last Chipotle shop for the month. I had been planning on doing it for dinner but decided to do a lunch instead, which worked out much better since I can feed hubby at home instead of taking him to Chipotle--I make a better profit by leaving him at home (beer, double meat, LOL). I drove a total of 8 miles and did 5 shops in less than 2 hours. I love days like this.
The piece of tire did not bust the radiator hose. The piece of tire took out the spoiler across the bottom. When i removed it because it was dragging there was no longer any protection for the hose, which comes out of the bottom of the radiator. Apparently since i drove the car yesterday with no issues something punctured the radiator hose this morning.

I did a Rita's Italian Ice and got a wicked brain freeze. It was in the 90's and the humidity makes it feel like 100+ here in coastal FL, so they taste nice and refreshing but the pain was so bad I almost had to pull over and sit it out.
Tommy's original hamburger...got the wrong order, ordered a double burger, got a chili burger, I so not like their chili, couldn't eat it, wrote negative report,...bummer.

Live consciously....
I am off to a 3 day stay with time share resentation required. This ought to be interesting...
No work today , but assigned 4 banks, 3 restaurants and a dealership...1st. week of Aug will be busy.....smiling smiley

On-site inspection at a local City Hall. It's nice not to have to act for a change. Also had a nearby Amscot, but the address was not correct. Before I had a chance to clarify with the scheduler it was put on hold.
Finished a mortgage shop report and then checked in for an overnight hotel stay. No evening meal included so I brought along a frozen portion of BG's beef Stroganoff to zap in the microwave, and some wine to accompany it.

I will be doing a Chipotle shop on Sunday. I have nothing until then. No complaints though.

I only shop places I want to go. Otherwise it is "work" and the pay is too terrible to do it only for the money. So I don't do that many shops. That said, next week I'm doing a bowling shop that I'm excited about. I've done probably 10 of them so I know what to do and look for, plus my husband loves to bowl, drink beer, and eat wings. It's a perfect situation.
I've done dealership shops, but I think they are WAY too much hassle for no pay, and I feel bad for wasting the salesperson's time. Car sales is SOOO transient, the shops should really be geared to management. Any single one of us could get a car sales job today. Just say you are competitive, want to make tons of money, and have no education. Done! We are evaluating these people? It's so picking the low hanging fruit.
Multi-day gig. Back hates it. Pocketbook loves it.

It beats the heck outof another project at another job.
