Where Are You Shopping Today?

Multi-day gig. Back hates it. Pocketbook loves it.

It beats the heck out of another project at another job.

Hubby is out of town...Turkey sandwich from WaWa (They are much better than I expected), 5 Guys dinner, Rita's dessert..no cooking for me

I was also surprised to find that the fresh sandwiches and salad offerings at Wawa were much better than expected. They are finally opening more in the DC Metro area (not all with gas pumps) so, even when I am not doing shops there, they provide a good, cheap quality food option.

Today, the last hotel valet shop of the month plus a nearby garage. finding a non-hotel garage shop that can be done on a Sunday is rare, indeed, in this area. Tomorrow I will mop up the last of the reports and video uploads for July. Then on to preparing the apartment to show to a serious prospect on Monday plus routine auto maintenance Monday-Tuesday. August shops are rolling into the calendar nicely so far.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Bank of WalMart!

I actually have.....nothing on my calendar until October. I should probably start working on that.

Convenience stores, post offices, one bank shop. Rinse and repeat for the next four days plus a consumer retrieval appointment. Then for the next week it's merchandising gigs and post offices. August is booked solid for me except for a few stray days where I can catch up on housework.
Uploading 4 short videos and then on to chores for my home and showing the basement apartment to a strong prospect.

I'm heading out of town to visit Oldest Son in Dallas, and I'm doing my first Southwest shop. I can't remember the last time I was so nervous about a shop :-)

I don't have any shops scheduled until mid August when I do a post office shop. I've been averaging about two shops per week in June and July.
Today is a lunch at Sizzler, a quick Staples and home doing more computer work for my Vegas trip.

Live consciously....
Yankee Candle - need a centerpiece candle
Car shop - need an oil change
Two video shops - need some money to put towards trip
Off for the rest of the week, right now.

I don't know if you are only doing one post office shop because that's all you want to do, but when they are released, I immediately email my scheduler with groups of shops that I want to do and generally get the 10-12 that I want with the due dates that I want. That way I can plan other shops around them for short distance routes.
I scheduled my sports bar shops for August. I landed 3, and 1 will be during happy hour.

Between now and the middle of the month, I have several over-filled days. I will do merchandising, demos, and inquiries. I scheduled inquiries, thinking they were the same bank ones that I loved recently. But they are slightly different. I applied for a new-to-me type of audit. After that, and if I am awake, I will try to avoid this biz for a few weeks. (If I am not awake, sleepy me will not have to try, haha.) But I can't retire just yet because there are a few more assignments scheduled in September. Oh, well.

Oh, I had to drive the Audi A4 sedan when I did that shop. Any car that can be driven that fast on the Autobahn is sporty. Though a Mustang might LOOK sporty, I wouldn't trust a Mustang or most American cars on the Autobahn. The Audi is designed to stop at a high speed safely (if you hit something and crash, you might live).
I have an Audi A4. I hate that car. I am trading it in for a BMW this winter. I'm driving a 2017 A4 right now.

Today: 15 airport shops and 2 gas stations.

Just wondering how you send that much? I took four of the PO shops to send books that I've finished reading to various family members. Sometimes I use it for eBay auctions. I've heard some send food to food banks. Any tips?
I did some demos for a product called bone broth protein and the company had sent me tons of product that they didn't want back so I send it to friends. I also have a stepdaughter in another state who I will mail small items to like a box of pasta or rice, a can of olives or tuna, etc. I don't do the food banks personally with the current MSC, though I did for dimensional shops with a different MSC years ago because the food banks knew about it. I have sent stuff that I sold on eBay before too.
I send relatives goodie boxes. They love it and they don't have to be expensive. Books I run across at yard sales, candy for the kids, sometimes I just throw in a pkg of macaroni because it's the right size. They never know what they will get.
Today I"m shopping Meijer and Sonic.
I love Meijer. The shops are good and the store is great even without the shops. They have nice stuff. Especially kitchen gear. I tend to use my fees and reimbursements to get dishtowels, new gadgets, coffee cups, that type of thing. They always have very colorful things which is what I like.
Complimentary valet shop at my hospital 4.3 miles from home. Easy except it was raining so they had a back up which resulted in some "no" answers that had to be addressed in the narratives.
I'm not much of a lifestyle shopper. I usually shop for the money, but today I had a wonderful, full body, hour-long massage. Small fee and fully reimbursed..Ah, I'm so relaxed. Now I need to get back to reality and go do my grocery store shop..same 'ole.

I had one Market Force phone shop. The store's pretty new, and I figured most people wouldn't know about it and I'd be in and out of there fast. However, when I reached the front door and read it was an "Authorized Retailer" I didn't have a good feeling about it. I was right. It took me 23 minutes to be assisted. However, once it got going the associate hit all his marks quickly and I was out the door ten minutes later.

Did a wings shop and ate too much, enough calories for a week.....then a grocery, more food.

I did a highly bonused bank shop today. Tomorrow might be Chipotle, depending on what time I get out of church. If not tomorrow, then Monday.

I have found some good deals in Big Lots on home furnishing type stuff. I once found a really cool leather trunk there for $20 that looked great in my bathroom; I used it for storing TP. I also found a pretty decorative wastebasket for $10 that has a lid on it, it doesn't look like a wastebasket and maybe that wasn't what it was meant to be but that's what I use it for.
I just finished up a 10-day set of 54 convenience stores and 8 post offices with a bank shop and a few pricing audits in the mix. The next three weeks I have 42 hours per week of merchandising resets; next week I am doing a reset at Earth Fare and have a product retrieval on Monday, then two post offices in the vicinity to do when I got finished there. I won't have a whole lot of time to do much else.
phone shop for YMCA. Nothing else today. Got something tomorrow can't remember off hand. Carhartt, Cheeburger Cheburger, and Regal Movies Tuesday, 4 t-Mobiles by the 10th and then heading out of town for my Kings Island amusment park shop on the 15th (just gotta do 5 drink shops throughout the park) and can enjoy the rides. Free ticket drinks , parking and $25 pay. Not bad. Sept I got my regular circuit of drug store shops. I may pick up some of those meijer grocery shops on way to Cincinnati.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
