yesterday in my area there was also 2 200.00 gas stations. I was a little under weather so decided not to take them . I am in central Florida.

wish we had grocery shops here in central Florida. Publix's has its own market and little competition.

A mattress store. I'm still new, this tis my first mattress shop. Reading the guidelines multiple times now.

This morning I did a candy aisle audit for field agent on my way to work. Tonight is two gas station light audits and since I have to stop at a drug store on the way, I will try and find some eye spy items for field agent. I never have much luck with those but since I will be there, why not. Since I work full time, I consider that to be a profitable day of mystery shopping.

Today was just 2 very easy H&R Block audits....each one only took 15 minutes.

Local Irish Pub for lunch. $30 Five Guys for dinner.

I failed at finding work for today. Boo. I did apply for some jobs, set up some reservations and apply for a new company. It's a little slower than I'd like. I've also been stalking some jobs to see if the fees will go up only to see half of them were taken yesterday.

This is my first January doing shopping. I'm hoping it'll pick up.

These are audits. No tax return to be completed.

Fees normally rise late in the calendar quarter, usually March June, September and December, late in that month. However, a few shops have monthly deadline that push schedulers to add bonus amounts late in any such month.
In addition to all of that, January can be very slow when lients do not release their new shop surveys and guidelines to their MSC in a timely manner. Especially at the start of a new year we often get a temporary lull in shop releases. Take heart; the best of 2023 is yet to come!

Thank you so much, I appreciate the encouragement. This community is awesome.

I'm trying to do all I can to get better at this. I analyzed my numbers from last year. Tried to work on some strategy. I'm working on improving my record keeping. It feels like busywork at the moment but I'm hoping that improved systems and organization will pay off later in the year when things hopefully pick up.

To @walesmaven and all the other superstars out there, thank you for making this place so great.

I always send gifts to friends and family thou there are people who exchange addresses to ship packages back and forth. Search the forum.

Groceries and Panda.

Finished writing my report for a fine dining shop last night. $280 reimbursement & $40 pay... went over by $25 & $40 for babysitter so $25 for a great evening out with my husband.
2 Menards shops where I picked up Zero & Watchamacallit candy bars for candy gram boards.
1 post office regular box shop where I sent my oldest son his Christmas gifts, since he moved out of state (spent Christmas with his girlfriends family this year)
1 Patient Point office to finish up my route of 16 of them... (did 15 yesterday)

Whole Foods. But perusing the boards to see what I can see.

Three random BP dark audits last night on the way home from Texas de Brazil lunch & shopping with my husband. Kids were at friends houses so we went on a date! This mall has stores we don't have close by, Lush Aveda Lululemon....

The YMCA location Hubby and I are seriously considering joining. (And as a matter of fact, did after I completed the report!)

Did a bounced 5G today in the afternoon. It's a location I'm familiar with many years. Always been unfriendly but I shop it likes it's my first visit. Food was totally on point - perfect.. But man the crew is borderline mean and I know it's not that way normally - as the 3 other FG locations I did recently - the crew was delightful. So I'll answer the questions accordingly. I've always known this both as a business owner - and as a consumer - but man, never ceases to amaze me when you walk into a business - many times you can just 'smell' the tempo and attitude in the place.

Nothing today, I am just too tired. But I did schedule some things for the week so feeling good about that. I made $10 doing research studies today. I work full time already so needed a quiet day.

1 dark audit on the way home from hitting/ catching lessons.
No school = a lot less work for me! Taking most of this week off. Then a hotel shop Friday night, Texas Roadhouse Saturday & maybe a few dark audits since I'll be about 4hrs away for a softball tournament & I still see some in that area.

5G, groceries and possibly Jersey Mike's. Had a demoralizing day yesterday with several non-work things and also a Jersey Mike's mobile order job. I showed up at the right place, checked in and waited and waited for my order. The employees couldn't find it. So I double checked my app and see there's another location on the same street that I accidentally ordered from instead. Wrote for help but no answer yet so might have to reshop this location today. Sigh.

Today was making sure a CPR shop was debranded, and 2 lightly bonused grocery shops.

Lobster shop.

Two pick-up using the app shops thru Presto at some fast casual restaurants. That served as lunch for me and my husband. A Pilot shop with only five questions (using a different MS app) and I end up getting $10 & a candy bar for 11 cents. (It doesn't take too much to make me happy.)
