I usually work about 5 shops a day. These are banks, credit unions, grocery and electronic shops. I really need to cut down on the number of shops that I work. I am 71 and tired. I am retired from the medical field but still mystery shopped for over 25 years. Due to the economy and being on a pension, I have had to go back to mystery shopping. I have been told to slow down. What do you do when you need the money to pay bills but are exhausted from working 6 days a week?
Have you noticed how many more elderly people are working in all the grocery, department and hardware stores? They say that hundreds of thousands of jobs were filled in the U.S. this last month. I wonder how many were older people that had to go back to work.
I feel sorry for all us. It takes jobs away from younger people and would mean more mystery shops for you. But we have bills to pay even though we would prefer not to work.
