good luck and best wished everyone - I'm done here (now I'm back LOL)

It's a discussion on how mystery shoppers interact with one another and what the recourse is when one is not "genuinely friendly", "engaging" and provides a positive interaction.

At the risk of drawing bully attention to myself, WHAT does this thread have to do with mystery shopping? Nowhere is a specific MSC or store discussed.

precisely.
BULLY!!!!!!

Hrm.. That's a good question. I'm sure mystery shopping must have been discussed at sometime in this thread? Or the OPs lengthy posts on mystery shopping were referenced?

Just a thought! Doy you think when posters post these "I'm leaving" threads, and there have been many over the years, that is the end of them? Or do they stay around until the thread dries up? Maybe the stop posting under the recognized, familiar name and come back with a new name? I would think that if I got upset with the forum, I would just leave. Why open myself up to more of the unpleasantness I consider coming my way.

As mentioned earlier, they are a cry for attention (in my opinion). If I left, I would not start a thread. I have been here a lot longer than OP. I am not that important that I need a thread to announce my departure.

It's the internet for Pete's sake. Did I cry when Sybil2 flipped her "s" on me? Nope. I could not care less what she types. (Just an example of course.) I come here to get helpful information and to give it. A few people here, I know in real life. Others I will surely meet. Any issues with them can happen off the board.

I do miss ParkCityBrian though. smiling smiley

thanks for your nice thought.
I remember that phrase very well. I also remember the first time I received the response, "Well, kiss my a** & we'll make it a love story."
It has nothing to do with mystery shopping. Personally, I think it belongs in the Meta section since it deals with the forum itself. Although I must be in the minority since a mod didn't move it when they edited someone's post a few up from yours.

Lisa, now that you mention it, I remember hearing, "whaddya writin' a book?" all the time. Haven't heard it in a while. Janalou, that's a good rejoinder. Never heard that before and now have no opportunity to use it. The question used to be considered absurd because so few people actually published a book. Now, everyone can publish, so it's lost its impact. Except in this thread smiling smiley
I was harassed on this forum years ago when the situation was worse. There were maybe five main members, who teamed together, and maybe 3 little ankle biters who always supported their reign. I could even give names. A lot of them jumped on the OP in a heartbeat, didn't you, oh holier than thous? Such intelligent wit! My goodness, how do you contain your self righteousness?

I was called names and criticized. Yes, they are bullies, but you know that kind are everywhere.

Since then, I change my name constantly or lurk. I would swear off the place completely, but there is too much information to not check back occasionally. And by the way, I doubt ANY of it has come from them.

Not that it matters to anyone, but if there are more than two paragraphs, I usually don't read it. My input wouldn't be helpful anyway. I'm quite old and this sounds so high school.
You're not familiar with the OP then winking smiley

shoppper8, most forum members are well into adulthood and this is much like high school sometimes, unfortunately.

UPDATE:

After taking a few days off (or however long it was), I've decided to come back for now. grinning smiley

I haven't read through this thread yet - I will at some point - because I'm not emotionally ready to, but just wanted to say that I'm be back posting here again. I shall use the "toggle" feature now going forward to avoid trouble and try to be more concise when I write (if that grates on people's nerves from past long posting). I just mainly hope we can all co-exist in peace, love, and respect!

Okay, that's all for now. smiling smiley
Good luck, precious. You can settle down, I'm sure you'll be ok. Every time someone posts about their teensy-weensy, widdle hurt fee-fees I feel that they need a nice cuppa, a shawl, several cats and The Sound of Music on an endless loop or an Enya (Enya, not an enema, altho that could also be helpful).

Mmm? After reading your widdle post, I need the biggest f cuppa on the planet! Also, I noticed that shoptastic did not take the bait and did not respond to your teensy-weensy, widdle nuclear bomb of a post. Good job, shoptastic!

Speaking of the cuppa, I soon have a cuppa shop. Yay! I think their sizes do not range as large as biggest f, but that is okay. i can get any size that I want, with anything I want in it. Sweet, huh? I think this might be the funnest widdle job I ever did. grinning smiley
