Arby's

Anybody been passing up this month's Arby's shops?

The triple-thick bacon is superb. You're allowed to order the BLT.

The sandwiches are enormous.

Yum!

Isn't it some sort of sugar coated bacon? I don't like sweet bacon so I passed them up. Plus, even if I liked the sandwich purchase for the month, I would wait for it to be bonused.
I don't know if it's sugar COATED -- it's "brown sugar bacon". Very flavorful. While I didn't detect any sugar ON the bacon, it does seem somewhat sweet. I have 4 so far. Am I allowed to say the bonuses? They are now past deadline, and being nicely bonused. Good route fillers. (Ha ha, spellchek doesn't like "bonused" or "bonussed"!!!)
Right, we like bonused, LOL. To heck with spellcheck on that!!!! Good for you with the bonuses! They aren't bonused in my area, yet. If they had the right bonus, I would go get one of the sandwiches and try it on your recommendation.
There's the giant sandwich and the ginormous sandwich, if they don't have those you get to order the Reuben. They're not bonused in my area, YET. I take one so they know I'm interested and I can do them and then I sit a wait like a fake roast beef sniper!
Oh I do like their Reuben's......but I'm not seeing any shops here in central Ohio. Perhaps I'm not signed up with the MSC.....off to do some research on that!

They fly off the boards in my area. Brown sugar is used on most smoked bacons. Nothing excessive, just thick smoked bacon. They still used chopped/formed meat which is OK but IMHO not like a real deli sandwich.

Anyone else's local Arby's completely obliterating the bacon by burning it? Here, it's like chewing on glass except for a few little pieces. I asked and they said that's how it arrived (at 3 different locations) but I've had out-of-town locations and their bacon is like Red Robin's country burger's bacon so.....they have a bacon obliteration machine
You cannot order bottled water. I only take a sip of the soda and toss the rest. Especially on the drive-thru, there's no reason why you can't deconstruct the sandwich and just eat what you like. If the location does not have the LTO, you must order the Reuben. One of the LTOs is turkey, one is roast beef, and one is the BLT.

You order the sandwich alone, wait for the upsell -- if no upsell, then you must order the meal. Side must be the curly fries.

The bonuses I got were satisfactory -- the 4 shops will pay next month's rent, LOL!!!
I had the turkey one for supper last night. 'Twas yummy. I am bummed that we must buy the curly fries now... I used to always get the other sides in the past as I am NOT a "Fry Person."

It is "make an offer." I checked the menu and they have a lot of items I would not eat or drink but I can eat curly fries, the bacon sandwiches and bottled water.

I have not seen these shops. Is there only one "make an offer" company? Maybe that MSC does not have in my area.
Just received the email showing a response to this thread and the next email is a coupon for a Happy Anniversary Free Classic Roast Beef sandwich from Arby's, whoaaaa
Just the notification that there was a response to this thread. And then, ironically, a coupon from Arby's. I'm signed up for everyone's birthday club or app.
I just did one of these a coupe of days ago. I got the roast beef and bacon one. The bacon was great!
I did my first Arby's last month. It was an MAO shop and my offer was accepted. I don't particularly like the food, though the unsweetened tea was good. For anyone who finds the MSC's fast casual burger shops starting fee to be acceptable, the starting fee for Arby's is commensurate. The Arby's report is a breeze, comparatively.
And, there's no wait because it's practically abandoned as is the decor. More for me!!!!!
I guess the rules are slightly different for each location? All of mine have instructed me to purchase whichever sandwich I want in the LTO, but I noticed one instructed any side, and another said it must be curly fries. I always double check, but only recently have I noticed different rules popping up just a few miles apart and with the same owners of that particular franchise.

I seem alone on this one, but years ago I did the Arby's that you give the certificate to and first time eating there, came home and threw up, my one and only Arby's experience is imbedded in my mind, couldn't pay me enough.
