brattnet, I did not research Zeox or NSSN. You've already figured out that the check is bogus. Indeed. Real companies can be found on the MSPA site, and there's a list, with links, in the Mystery Shopping Company Discussion section of this forum.
There is a scam going around that is using NSSN in their name. At least you caught that. One way you know a scam is that THEY contact you without you having signed up with them.

Many companies have sent me emails through the years, without my registering (but not checks), they get your name through MSPA or other companies to do new work in any given area, that alone is not a warning. The check is the warning, beware..no one just sends money. Greed is the incentive for newbies that want to believe this can be a money industry...NOT!!!

Yes, Irene, that happens all the time. *****But people who haven't been doing MSing do not get those mails.**** You need to be certified, or have signed up on Archon Dev or Sassie, or Shadow Shopper, or Premier Shopper, or be a good enough shopper that one scheduler gave your name to another.

You are just confusing the issue for someone who got a check, searched the net, and ended up here.
