Five Guys

now that Five Guys and Smash are with the same MSC I do one again not have to fill out 365 characters of narratives on how the manager came around and all of that.

Smash is OK. I like doing the reports because they are so freaking lazy most of the time. They rarely suggest anything and rarely do most of what they are supposed to do. I like it because I can slam them and make the MSC notice that I am not giving the visit I do a great report all of the time.

Eh, at least the old MSC allowed coupons and I could at least net a profit for their shops without having to wait for any bonuses

Very infrequently shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado these days.
I used to work at five guys we take pride in serving our customers in a safe and friendly manner
I refuse to do Smash without a payment. I wish other shoppers would do the same. The MSC pays for 5 guys, if we held out they would do the same here.

Burgers are never frozen, buns have basically 5 ingredients and fries cooked in peanut oil.
Is that why the fries are so good? We ate there last night (on our own dime). Split a large fry between three of us and worked to finish them :-).

That maybe so. Part of it could be the fries are made fresh daily from the potatoes. Most of the time they are cooked freshly in the fryer. Usually a little fries has enough gor 2-3 people.
I've been impressed with FG in general. The employees, especially a couple of the managers, are personable and efficient. It just seems well run. Plus, the food is great, though I'm with most of the rest of you, I only eat there if I have a shop. It's kind of a treat for me. If I ate there more often I'd be as big as a house.
I like crispy fries!!!! I took my hubby on a shop and he forgot when we ordered he wasn't supposed to ask for crisp fries. He asked for them crispy and I said, "No, I like mine not crisp" (what a lie). He looked at me confused and then realized why I said that, and said, "Okay, she wins."
