IntelliShop report rejected.

I did a pizza shop for IntelliShop last Thursday. Friday I received an email that the pictures had a yellow haze and slightly blurry. They looked fine on my end. I have done these shops for about 3 years and never had one rejected. So I uploaded new pictures and also emailed pictures to the scheduler on Friday. I didn't hear back from her so I assumed the report went through. On the web site, my report was marked received. Today I got an email from the same scheduler saying the report has been excluded since I failed to make the updates. I have written her 2 more times but still haven't heard back. Anyone else have this happen?

Yep, Intelli is famous for a Editor who is beyond tough....I've been there, but not with photos....after years of praise, a new Editor refused to pay me for the order my narrative's were written.....and claimed I made an appt., when I didn't. This was a year ago, there are better paying companies that will work with you...move on.

Live consciously....
Yeah, but Shannon doesn't have that client anymore. Not sure how much she will be able to help on that.
Mod note: Post removed as it breached the Forum guideline which states, "Do not reveal the clients of mystery shopping companies". Additionally, it is usually an ICA violation to name both the MSC and client.
Hotsauce1 - you have probably inadvertently revealed the client in this thread about the MSC. You should edit your post.

I did a pizza shop recently. I like to save my reports a lot of times while I'm filling them out, and I hadn't even attached the photos. I proofread at the end of everything, so I hadn't gotten to the Proofread step yet. I must have accidentally also clicked Submit report and it accepted the report even though there were no attachments. I immediately wrote to explain that I didn't meant to submit, and thats how I found out that I (accidentaly) checked the box saying I requested a specific time for pickup. I explained that this was a mistake, that I definitely did not request a pickup time, and I hadn't finished the report yet to proofread. But they said they wouldn't accept it. It was totally my own careless mistake but I was surprised that there was no way to fix it. At least now I never have to eat (name of pizza restaurant) again.

Good catch, kanasch. Yeah hotsauce, take out the name of the pizza restaurant from your post.
The pizza shop itself, has numerous complaints about shops being rejected because of photos. Combine this with Intellishops lack of response/communication, it does not surprise me. This is based on my personal experience, so it might not match the views of others. I find the pizza to be mediocre at best, I can eat it, but do not normally buy it and would not go out of my way for it.
I have to agree about the lack of response and the pizza being mediocre. I would not order it normally. Hannah finally did reply and said she uploaded my pictures. She said we will see if it goes through and that they are picky. The shop had a 17 dollar bonus on it. I had done one other pizza shop for them at the same location with no bonus and that went through fine.
I agree with spaztck, I do not go out of my way for this pizza at all. I only will do the shop if there's a nice bonus tied to it. I have yet to have one of the shops rejected, but I am sure it will happen at some point considering all I have heard on the forum regarding these shops.

Hope the pics go through for you lauren!
laurenh33, I don't like the pizza at most of the locations. For being a chain, they are consistently inconsistent from location to location. The one that delivers to my home pretty much sucks consistently. There are 2 locations out of 10 that are within a 20 mile radius of me that have pretty decent pies. I still need to doctor them up before eating them, but the majority of the time I give the pizzas to hungry college kids next door. Most kids like the pizza, but it seems you could put sauce and cheese on cardboard and kids would eat it. I don't know why when they are so picky about so many other types of food. Anyway, I only do the shops for bonuses.
Omg. I think I'm done with them. I submitted my pizza photos. I tripped a little walking out so it was a little separated right down the middle. Not bad. I said I tripped a little.
I was rejected and Hannah said I rearranged the pizza slices in the box to make it look like I didn't move them.

I did not do that!!! It just doesn't set well with me at all. A rejection bc I tripped is one thing but to accuse me of rearranging slices is a little crazy!!

I dont particularly enjoy their shops anymore but I took on a pizza one for my kids. No more for them lol. I'll stick to my $5 shops for the other company winking smiley
Yes Jasflalmt, I too doctor them up with toppings. My husband, brother and kids will eat it. That is great that you can share it with the college kids. I just don't like the sauce or crust much although I love pizza! I don't believe there are any shoppers in my area for this location because it is always on the board. It's a shame because now I won't do anymore for them.
I had one once a while ago where their system would not allow me to submit the report because one photo was missing, but their system would not allow me to attach the picture.

I emailed them that the report was done except for the picture it wouldn't allow me to attach (error message trying to attach ANY picture) and I was told to email them the picture so my report would be done, so I did. Thought it was over, but got a 6 on it because they claimed they "had to contact me". Honestly haven't shopped for them since. Just rubbed me the wrong way.

I did many shops for the now-defunct MSC that had the same client and only ever had one shop outright rejected. I was so good that they called me to re-shop the same location and only realized I was the original shopper when I told them I just shopped that location... and wound up paying me on the original shop.

I have also shopped this client for Intellishop and did not have an issue. That said, if they rejected it based on bad photos, there's not much you can do other than offer to re-shop or eat the loss (pun intended).
DrSquash me too! I worked for the other MSC for about 3 years so I definitely have had experience. I had only one shop rejected when I first started and it was my fault. I also was the main shopper for this location and they called me to do the shop often. I did the same shop for Intellishop once before the rejected shop and it was reimbursement only and went through with a 10 score. I had shown my rejected photos to 3 others who have done the same pizza shops and they could not find anything wrong with the photos. My thoughts are they didn't want to pay the 18 bonus on it. The shop has been sent to the client and still has not been rejected as of yet. I know sometimes they reject after weeks though.
You are much better off working for companies that are reliable, honest, pay on time, and work with shoppers. Do a search on "favorite companies" and "Intellishop" to read others' experiences. It's eye opening.
