Can you send a package to yourself at your previous address and have it either forwarded back to you, or returned as "not at this address"?

From the USPS website:

"Change Your Address

Whether you’re making a long-term move or you’ll just be at a new address for just a few months, USPS® mail and package forwarding services can send your mail to you."

I recently moved from Texas to NY.
I would not do that. You are making unnecessary work with your shipments.
I like your idea of mailing supplies to animal charities. I will have to try that out.
Unfortunately my first ever USPS shop was rejected. It was a standard priority shipping shop (not hazmat), and I mailed to a food bank in Zone 1. I did not read the shop directions carefully and I thought it was OK to mail to this Zone as long as it was not Zone 0. You live and learn I guess.
I’m in New England and need a hazmat buddy too! smiling smiley

I don’t like boarding planes I cannot jump out of... it’s dangerous.
I been mailing baking soda to food banks addressed to people in their board, i saw i recieved a package today sent us mail i wonder if someone mailed it back
Is there a list somewhere to find what zips are compatible with others? I haven't done any post office shops as I don't have anyone to mail anything to. I'm in zip 98022. Thank you.

go to [postcalc.usps.com] . Using the left hand tab, enter the first 3 numbers in your zip code and you can scan the list for zone 5's. It will give you ranges of other 3 digit codes. Try adding 2 more numbers and Google the number to find out what cities they belong to. I find generally that in the west, zone 5's are 2 states away. I'm in Arizona so at least part of Idaho, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Wyoming, Kansas (basically cutting through the 4 corners to make these just 2 states lol), Oregon, Montana, and strangely enough Northern California (haven't figured that out yet). There might be others, but at least parts of these states are zone 5 for me. I checked and we're zone 6 so close but no cigar. Otherwise I'd be glad to work with you. Perhaps someone will contact you. I do know one person who is a zone 4 for me that appears to be zone 5 for you. I will contact them and see if they would be willing to be your partner for hazmat shops..
