Scheduler requests...

Request from scheduler, can you do shop A for $15 plus $5 bonus since I see its a little far for you?
I respond I would need $75 bonus as it is 90 min each way & no other work in that area.
Scheduler responds asking why it would take so long to get there. Telling me that the shop is only 23 miles away & for a 90 min drive it would have to be 80-90 miles away. ...
Well let's see construction & traffic and most of the roads are not 60mph speed limit.


Anyone else have schedulers requesting far distance shops for pennies lately? I'm wondering if msc are really pushing to get shops done with little to no bonus.

Do the schedulers have a database that they consult when attempting to compile information as this relates to shopper travel distance/time?

There is a location that is 21 miles one way, so 42 RT, with NO other opportunities for other shops in the area, and the way there is along a country 2-lane road, so it's easily a 40 minute drive one way. For the shop that keeps showing up there, I always ask for an extra $20 bonus, but 95% of the time, the scheduler tells me she has shoppers willing to do it for an extra $5.00! So, I just politely decline until they are desperate, which usually happens once a year...LOL! Got my $20.00 bonus request last month....before that it was last Sept of 2016. But I'm not doing all that driving for $5.00!!

So it appears they have a shopper for it every month but Sept. Next Sept your price should go up.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
