I can't name the companies involved, but believe me, the consensus on the bad MSC being a bad MSC is pretty universal.@bgriffin wrote:
"Good" and "Bad" are incredibly subjective.

I have not gotten any communication about retraining and I am doing one tomorrow. Perhaps it is regional or has to do with when the particular shopper got their original training. But I may hear tomorrow or the next day. There are no easy to get to Shack Shacks for me so if it does go to a diff msc with lower pay I am off the list. It would seriously help my bottom line (of calories that is as I think the average meal I have had there has about 2000 calories so my bottom grows with every shop).
It could be the other company is doing some shorter type report for them or just trolling for new business and doing promo shops without telling the shoppers. That does not mean they will get the job.

If it's who I expect it is then yes. But the "good" MSC is not universally considered "good." I consider them quite average.
As a route shopper I generally am working for quite a few companies at a time. The "good" companies realize this. Some companies seem to think their shops are more important, which is fine. When their shops constitute $50 worth of work a month and the other companies $500, well, their shops are not more important.
Also sometimes they were rude.

You haven't paid much attention here. There have been quite a few valid complaints over the 4 years I've been here from reputable shoppers.
You don't know me, and it appears you are new here. I have been a full time professional shopper for several years and while I have certainly made my fair share of mistakes I don't have a problem owning up to them. That was not the case with this company and perhaps you shouldn't make ASSumptions......

There is something a bit strange going on this month though - they (the "good" MSC) are not scheduling anything for the last week of the month... (maybe someone needed a vacation!)

From what my scheduler told me, this month the client has some internal quarterly deadline that falls in the last week of the month so they want all their mystery shops done before then, it doesn't seem to be from the MSC's end.

Yes, that is what they said. But that was not the case last year in February (only "special mention" back then was different purchase requirements for 2/1-2/6 and 2/7-2/28). My assignment back then was for 2/17 through 2/25.

Just when you think your 100+ companies are enough, you find out Shake Shack is shopped and you've never seen it offered or hinted at.
Back to finding more companies!
