Mystery Shopping Gold!

Nothing revolutionary to add here, just thought I'd have some fun. I recently took on a audit shop for a tax prep office. To my delight, the office rep denied granting me access to the office. She thought I was a scammer and wanted zero to do with me. I loved it! A potential one hour shop took just 2 minutes and her stupidity made the reporting a breeze. I call this mystery shopping gold. If only car dealer shops were this easy.

Why did she think you were a scammer? Your authorization letter had the contact information. She was stupid. I'm happy it worked out for you.

I did hear about someone posing as an auditor and ripping of a company kind of recently.. within last year or so. Maybe she had that on her mind. But good for you! Sometimes we need a few of those golden apples in our bushel basket of gigs!

I self assigned a cable company shop since I knew that the location had moved. I was doing some other shops in the area and remembered that particular location needed to be shopped. I got a full payment w/bonus and explained with pics that the location had moved.
In doing mystery shop/audit gas stations I have had 3 that wouldn't let me do the audit. I had done the mystery shop part so I got paid for the shop and on all 3 I got re-assigned a few days later and they let me do the audit.
I found mystery shopping gold yesterday. It was a company I really like but has not had any good shops in my area for months. They sent me an email about a shop with a $60 reimbursement. Miraculously the shop was still on the boards...I signed up and did it and got $60 worth of product for free. The report??? One picture, the time I entered the store and a yes/no question about whether they had the item in stock. The store was less than a mile from my house. OMG, these little gems once in a while are why I am hooked on mystery shopping.
I signed up for a gas station that I knew had changed brands since I drive by it all the time. Easiest mystery shop ever - just a pik of the outside and I got full pay.
Does anyone know of any telephone only mystery shops? I have low vision and looking for companies that cater to people that work strictly from home. Would be ideal. Thank you for your help!
Intellishop and Informa are two that come to mind that do some phone shops in addition to location visits. If I get emails about any others I will come back and post.
SeeLevelHX just sent me an email notifying me of a phone shop.

Primo had a phone job that pays well don't know if it is still available. Many companies have phone work keep checking.

Live consciously....
Ya, I got a few of these back to back every week taking pictures of Five Guys while they remodeled. Got to do the same for an ATT store that appeared to have closed recently.
CSE has phone shops fairly regularly.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
Like others, a few times I have taken visits for locations I knew were no longer there. I might not have gotten full reimbursement but I also didn't have a report to do. In February I had to do a Haagen Dazs. I had other places to shop at that location so when I went to do HD the was gone. I took a picture of the new place and the directory board showing HD was no longer there and i got paid for it. But visits like this are wonderful. I had 2 car dealerships and both rejected me - easiest money ever.
I remember when I did a Clark's shoe shop. This was before they merge with another MSC that is known for their low shop fees. I went to the location, It was closed. Sign was gone, no sign posted if they had moved. Checked mall directory, Nothing. I emailed scheduler. She called the company and was told they were remodeling and will reopen. Got paid $18 for first shop. Scheduler asked me if I would do a redo and offered another shop fee for $18. Cool!
