Not Being Able to Get Sassie Websites

Tonight after doing my assignments I thought I'd check a few more sassies sites. I checked about five last night. I keep getting an error 404 no matter what I do. I tried cutting and pasting the first part, typing it in, dropping the http:, and nothing works. I tried Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. Then I came here, which works of course, and I put in another website, which worked. My regular companies are on my favorites list in Explorer and Firefox has a memory of the ones I've used there. No sassies popping up.

I just checked 2 SASSIE sites and both came up with no issues. I'm using Firefox but have been in and out of job links through IE this evening to SASSIE sites.

No problem here either. I've used IE and Firefox and several Sassies.

I entered several shops in Sassie and had no problem. I do sometimes have problems with some sites using AOL.

True, it may be a problem with your ISP. Obviously your connection to other sites is working so it is probably not your internet overall. Others are getting in, so it is not a SASSIE problem. Since you have used both IE and Firefox with the same inability to hook up, it is probably not your computer. That basically leaves only connectivity of your ISP to the full web. Tomorrow is another day and if you still can't get there, contact the help desk at your ISP.

Sandra, I had the same problem, found I had to go all the way out, open a new IE window and it worked fine.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I rebooted last night. I tried another window then and I did just now. I haven't called Internet America yet. I'm swamped with other work.

Tonight when I attempt a SASSIE site I get the message, "Sorry, this system is temporarily offline for maintenance. Please try again later."

A couple of Sassie sites said "The system will be taken offline for routine maintenance this Sunday 10/3 at 9PM EDT (1AM GMT) for up to 30 minutes. We apologize for any inconvenience." Others I've logged in to have been a go.

Luckily I had nothing SASSIE to report and was just looking to see if any pending applications had been awarded either to me or someone else. One of those "not a big issue" things.

This morning, I was able to log on to about half of my sassies. I asked my husband if he thought that meant that it was a cookie problem. We don't think cookies are much of a problem on my computer anyway. He said it couldn't be. I never got a maintenance notice but that doesn't mean that there weren't any. I found a note about a new (to me) sassie company and tried to register but the only places to click on are either to log in or to ask what my password is. I emailed the company, but only got a welcome and please register.
