I have been a mystery shopper since 1985. Most of the companies pay for the work I have done. Sometimes, it takes a while, but it supplements my Social Security. Recently, I did a credit card study for GFK--formerly Roper NOP. They had always been a reputable company, and I had done this study among others in the past. This time they gave me a hard time about getting paid. They accused me of some terrible things, even though I did everything according to guidelines. Now I am in the process of going back to the locations and taking pictures of my work so I can get paid. They owe me $362 and they are ignoring some of my e-mails. I feel like I am having to do almost twice as much work in order to get paid. I feel that I do not deserve to be treated this way.
