has anyone done the Amazon/Walmart online shop that pays only $10?

I started this last night and gave up. WOW!! first in the email sent out to sign up it states 4 items will need to be shopped. Got my guideline and 8 items need to be shopped/compared. After, 45 minutes and only on my 4th item, I closed out and said no way.
Anyone else do these? Am I doing them wrong that it was taking me soooo looonnngggg? The email posts it as a somewhat easy shop. Yea, nothing hard, I guess, just TIME CONSUMING!! For ONLY $10

No, it looked like a PITA and because it paid so little, I put it on my 10-foot pole list without thinking twice. Sorry that you went through that.
I've done 2. Not difficult, but definitely convoluted. If you don't have anything else to do they're fine since they don't cost anything and you can do them at home.
I have done 2.5 of these. I did 2 of them that could be done on a laptop. That was pretty easy but time-consuming. The first time it took me about 3.5 hours the second time was about 2 hours. The one I started and could not finish was the one you had to do on a tablet. It was so difficult and time consuming that I quit after about an hour.
WOW! 2.5 to 3 hrs for $10?? That's what I was figuring it would take once I started but kept plugging along until 45 minutes passed and I wasn't even half way thru. I threw up my hands and said H*LL NO!! Not for $10.

Well, there are 4 more heading to the board for you to take if interested.
The mobile shops are only 4 items, the ones you can do on your computer have 8 items. I've done 4 shops so far and they only take me about an hour each. I think it helps to be familiar with Amazon and Walmart so you know what information you are looking for. It probably helps to be tech savvy with the mobile shops too, because you have to navigate multiple web pages at a time on your phone.
It looked confusing at first, but ended up being very simple and quick given that I couldn't find 2/4 items on the Walmart site. So all I had to do was log the search phrases I used.. basically they're just asking you to look at a photo of an item on Amazon and enter a search for it on Walmart, then compare if you can find the exact item in the first 2/3 (?) pages of search. If not, search one more time, report it, and move along.
Its the reporting of when you DO find the item that takes all the time. Skew no., is free shopping offered, what day can you expect your item, was any other type of shipping offered and on and on and on....oh, plus at least 2 screen shots. There's 10 to 15 min. Just in that part for one item...all for....DRUM ROLL....a WHOPPING $10.00!!!!
I did a couple. I don't think I'll do any more. They are very time consuming and can be a real pain. It isn't always easy to tell exactly which item is which as there are a lot that are very very similar, so I had to redo one of them. Not really worth it for 10 bucks.
I did these, and they were dreadful. Took a long time, and then the msc came back with questions. Avoid this shop!
Don't feel bad about closing it out without finishing. After spending two hours on one of those shops myself, I did the same thing (I have never not finished a shop before!) This is a ridiculous shop!
Hideous. I didn't do any because I read the guidelines and got a heads-up here.
I've completed about 20 of these shops throughout the past few months. I didn't get the hang of them until the tenth shop or so. They went from taking me an hour to now taking about 30 minutes each. You need to figure out a rhythm of what works best for you as you need to have several tabs open in your browser, organize and upload screenshots throughout the report, and be able to collect all the pertinent info from each product page in one fell swoop.
I did a few of these back in the fall...yes they are time consuming but I did learn a few things...would I do them again? I guess if I didn't have anything planned for the evening and had more than an hour to spare sure..

What Allisonvl said... I have a rhythm for them now. They take me anywhere from 25-40 minutes depending on a few variables. I do think having an Apple pc helps a lot with screenshots.
I just bailed on this as well. I’m pretty proficient with my iPad but after a few minutes I realized that it would take more time than I was willing to devote for $10.
I do believe you need to get a rhythm going as it usually takes me about an hour or less for one. For $10, not having to use gas and doing them when I have a few minutes, is worth it to me. Everyone is different but after doing four over the course of two days, $40 is worth it not to have to go out for me living out in the country. smiling smiley
I love them. I got a rhythm down pat. Wish there were more. Lol!
