Ever get a shop you are SUPER stoked and happy about ?!! smiling smiley - I just got one, woot woot

Excuse my exuberance but I just took a shop that I'm really excited about. Only pays $30 but is two nights in a fully furnished cabin at a campground not far from home with 100% reimbursement. The report doesn't look bad at all. I'm on Cloud 9. I would have done it for reimbursement only! (I love camping... and maybe this is actually glamping lol)

Bad side is it's the pickiest MSC on the planet (IMHO lol) so I'll have to be insanely perfect on my report or I'll be out $320. (gulp)

What's the most personally enjoyable shop you've taken?

wow sounds exciting, I am still waiting to get selected for such an exciting shop. The most exciting I am doing this week is a hair color shop at a high end salon

Mine easily has to be any of my shops I had to fly somewhere or broke a minimum of even to have a weekend trip to another state thanks to mystery shopping.

This includes trips to New Orleans, Austin, Maui, San Francisco, Miami, Orlando, Key West, Cleveland, Seattle, Dallas, Minneapolis, etc.

Maui was easily the most memorable work trip.

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!

Oh that is awesome! Congratulations, and best of luck on your report!

I'm still lukewarm and fuzzy from my tax shop in February. Through the shop, I found a great tax dude. He got me a significant refund for state and federal. I paid nothing out of pocket because the shop reimbursed the fees AND paid $85. The report was simple. Just six pdfs. I am looking forward to doing this shop next year.

My super one was a full housecleaning job last year. Plus the report was reasonable and I received a nice compliment on my write up. My fav so far for sure!

Susie shopping the Columbus Ohio area and outlying communities.
I am enjoying hearing about the great shops you've had! Free hair color, free flights, free tax prep, free housecleaning?! Who wouldn't love those lol.?! smiling smiley

Shop on lol. It takes the sting out of the rejected ones anyway. smiling smiley

I'm only a few weeks into mystery shopping, but I got free shoes...TWICE last week. I like shoes so that was fun!

What MSC?
Please do NOT name the salon you are visiting.
I remember getting my first Ruth's Chris shop. I'd been trying to get one forever, and I got one that was perfectly timed to take a friend for his birthday. (He was my usual Mystery Shopping dinner companion back then and knew it was a shop. He worked retail so understood about mystery shops (I never shopped places he worked), and he was great at remembering names and helping me gauge heights - everyone is always taller than me!) We went over the reimbursement amount because we were splurging, and I spent over three hours writing up every detail of the shop and making sure that the report was perfect, but it was completely worth it!
This one MSC stood out but had merged with another MSC. It was for the Clarks shoes. The location ended being closed but the scheduler informed me that it would reopen soon since it was remodeling. She paid me the full fee of $18 just for going to the location since it was closed and another $18 to do the actual visit when it reopened.
Fleming's Restaurant. We had a great meal that was reimbursed. Also Sketcher shoes I've gotten two pairs for almost nothing. Now unfortunately the MSC that has it has a small reimbursement.
They go very fast in my area but I like doing The Texas Road House. With my work schedule, it is hard for me to grab one. It is also hard for me to take my wife sometimes.

But we were both free last week and I was able to get one smiling smiley
Many years ago an MSC shopped the Lifeline Screening folks...the ones where you get 5 non-invasive screening tests done for a certain price. I had it done, and was completely reimbursed, plus received a fee for doing the shop.

I don't think Lifeline Screening is shopped anymore...if it was, I'd sign up again. I know the MSC that did it years ago isn't doing it. But I thought it was a good way to have over $100 of screening tests done for free...PLUS receive a fee!! Oh well...good times back then.
I also love the oil change shops. My old car had gotten too many miles on it and I couldn't do it anymore. Now I have a new car and can start doing it again. Although it is under warranty for 3 years I can do it and get the fee.
Many, but a couple are my doing the evaluation for the dinner and ice bar at Mandalay Bay in Vegas, lots of fun.
Love Larsen;s Steak House, and many great jobs I did for NSS, which is no longer, jobs or company both gone.
I'm doing one this month for an upbeat breakfast I'm doing in Beverly Hills, anytime I get to go to the city and get a $90.00 reimbursement for a great place plus nice fee, I'm in, and getting a bottle of Chanel perfume was a good deal for a 15 minute job.

Live consciously....
The two jobs that stand out in my mind were the Rag 'n Bone and Nine West shoe shops. I have had a few that surpassed these with regard to reimbursement but these two were sooo much fun. Loved all the items I got!

I got my current smartphone for free through a shop. I also have had free service for the last 3 years so no cell bill through the same shop. Plus I think I made $50 on the shop.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
This thread is great!

You mean the one where you are/were able to purchase $300.00 worth of clothing, but no accessories, and keep it?

Did one and then they disappeared.

As they say, easy come, easy go. Apparently karma for some bad deed caught up with me; they cancelled the shop. Even better, when I cancelled my reservation, I got nailed for a $20 cancellation fee.

Working to get that reimbursed.

So for now, I'll live vicariously through all of you. smiling smiley. Quite disappointed but c'est la vie.

its RBG

Thank you... must not be in the Chicago area or someone takes them the second they are released. I used to do them before RBG & Shoppers Critique merged....
That sucks mselle......

I get super excited when I get a fine dining shop. Something I can do to spend time with my mom. I have done a couple of hotel shops but not the resort type. Perhaps that should be my next goal. I would love to get a massage or salon shop but haven't really actively hunted for them.
