I have had several favorite shops, some reimbursement only and some with fee+reim. My most favorite is any shop where I can take my mom to one of her favorite restaurants, Black Walnut, Fish City Grill. Next favorite are shops where I get fee+reim to buy her things: prescription eyeglasses, fancy sandals for a hard to fit foot. Next, I like fee flights combined with free hotels for fee+full reim. Then come the shops where I sit at home and do next to nothing for a small fee, like getting my mail everyday and recording it, then shopping and returning items (I typically use USPS to return items and hand it over to my mailman, so I never have to leave home!). Oh yeah, and while I might not like the chore, I like the fee for taking my car/hubby's car in for oil changes and minor repairs. These things are at the top of my list smiling smiley

Was the Longhorn's shop recent, like in the past year? I haven't seen a Longhorn shop in years. I would love to do it again, but thought they discontinued the program.

Was that the alcoholic beverage study? I got one of those. It was great and the report not hard at all.

My favorite would be a tie between Ruth Chris and Fleet Feet. The steak at Ruths was even better than my husbands but please don't tell him and I love my $120 free sneakers or whatever they call them now a days!
I too loved those Rag and Bone shops. Just wore one of my $800 outfits to a play downtown on Friday. I love those fabulous shops that come out and it seems some people are afraid to try them until they get lots of yelp reviews or whatever. Rag and Bone and Wurstkucke were mine to do over and over whenever I was in rotation for several years before other shoppers discovered them.
3 night stay at the Saddlebrook Resort, Texas Roadhouse, any golf evaluation at the Billy Caspar managed courses, The Empire State Building , and any shop I can double dip, meal, hotel, oil change or parking reimbursement that would be covered by my employer for being a road warrior.
Ugh, I live in New Mexico. We don't have the best shops down here.... Lots of pizza, lots of burgers.
I like drug testing - it is easy, pays ok, survey is very easy and I know I will pass every time.
They don't fly off the boards. They are offered for no fee at the beginning of the month. A bonus is offered as the month goes on. I've seen the dinner shop bonused for $20 for the location I shop. I always get the bar bonus for $4 around the middle of the month.

Thank you... must not be in the Chicago area or someone takes them the second they are released. I used to do them before RBG & Shoppers Critique merged....

I am so excited for my hotel shop in my hometown city next weekend. Staycation here I come!
I have a beef with one clothing store shop that they keep offering me for plus size clothes. I want to do it because it's hard to find clothes for me. But they want me to go in, find something I like/love buy it and return it! uggh! I want a partial reimbursement and get to keep it! The other similar one has only a $5 dollar reimbursement so you can only buy cheap costume jewelry. How about one with a $20 dollar reimbursement or something, MSC's???? I did a few of the $5 dollar ones and counted my fee as a partial reimbursement (in my mind), lol.
Sounds like I picked up one of the same shops for a cabin. I'm pretty stoked too! I'm going to take my sister for a girl's trip.

Best one I've gotten so far was for an airline credit card with destinations in the Caribbean. All I had to do was listen for the pitch, fill out the app with the wrong info and hand it back unsealed to see what they did. They reimbursed the flight and up to $200 on one night, plus a $100 fee. I grabbed a private room in a youth hostel for three nights. And that's how I stayed in Old San Juan Puerto Rico for three nights for $40.

Best part: There was enough turbulence on the return flight that they couldn't make the announcement at all, much less be up roaming the cabin to distribute the applications.

The easy Google Pay tokenized shops with reimbursement -- Groupon, 1-800-Flowers, Postmates, Wish, Seamless, Fancy, Grubhub, etc. -- are always my favorite. In a close half-tie, are the order ahead food delivery shops for $25 using the fancy Google website popping up on several mystery shopping websites.

Second, was when the USPS did their self service kiosk mystery shop. Small pay plus free stamps? Sign me up!

Third, might be Disney retail stores, because even though it is reimbursement only, they let me exceed the word limit on narration and there's no employee monitoring stuff.

I just found an MSC that does Goodwill shops. So stoked I picked up two shops for the month. I love thrifting at Goodwill so I will gladly do this shop.
I get excited every time I get a casino shop for which I get to keep the winnings....

Love the Goodwill shops - the CS ones, not the audits. Once stinky men's shoes come off the list, I'll probably pick those up again, but checking for sizes on a hundred pairs of b.o.-laden shoes was not fun.

I made some great connections at the MSPA workshops over the years.

Randomly, I get a phone call last week to do a project that I have done 4 times already (2 different clients).

They mail me gift cards, re-loadable and pre-loaded. I got them a couple of days ago and activated them. I get to choose my locations from a huge spreadsheet. I go whenever I want to go within the time-frame (usually 2 weeks). I just buy stuff (no restrictions other than the amount spent) at every store and fill out a short survey, not even a report. I get to keep it all.

Once, I just went to the Grove in LA and loaded up my entire trunk with loot. I did a round of these a few years ago in Puerto Rico where they paid for my airfare (12 hours notice - so not cheap) and my hotel. I did not even have to fill out the surveys. I texted my notes for each location to the scheduler and SHE filled out the survey.

So, heck yes. I am available to do this project again. I'm super excited and so very grateful. The scheduler knows that if there is a hard to fill job that I could possibly do, I'd do it. They rarely ask though. I usually just get a random phone call or text. (If I smiled any wider, my face would break.)

Edited for crappy spelling.

SoCalMama-now thats a shop! Guessing those gems aren't posted on job boards anywhere.
My favorite ever shop was a Legoland amusement park and a Legoland Hotel shop, that the scheduler was able to pair together for me. My son is a HUGE Lego fan and I was able to get the shop scheduled for the week of his birthday. He took his best friend, and I took my mom along to keep me company. I found "buy one adult ticket, get child ticket free" coupons that the scheduler okayed using. I had already done one Legoland amusement park shop before, I was very familiar with the requirements and was able to get them done early in the day so we could enjoy the park. The hotel was a ton of fun, my mom and son still talk about how cool it was when the elevator turns into a disco party when the doors closed. The reimbursements fully covered the shop requirements (entry tickets, photo purchases, food purchases and store purchase at the park; hotel cost, store purchase, dining/bar purchases at the hotel) and the additional pay was icing on the cake for the memories we made there and I put it all on my rewards credit card.

No, they’d never put a project on the board like that. They’re advancing me the $ before I even do the jobs.

So I’m only waiting for the fees. I am reimbursed in advance for the purchases.
I like when I apply for a phone shop for a company for the first time and they give me a couple smiling smiley

I understand they want people with experience but how can you get experience if they do not give you a chance
My Fav are Gas stations. I do 3 chains, bunch of them near my house, report is super easy, pictures are somewhat annoying. It works out to be $20 in free gas at a time (sometimes snacks too). When they came on board, I stopped paying for gas out of pocket. Don't need to reveal myself.

By far my favorite shop.
One of the shops I do regularly is a gas station/convenience store. The reimbursement is $20: $10 for gas and $10 for food. The shop is normally reimbursement only, but I get a $3 bonus for each.

Holy crap! Are those back? Are they with the same company that did them last year? I made so much money off that in 2017, it was amazing.

I don’t know if they have/had them for nyc and if they were done in-house this time or not. I’m shopping in CA.
@SoCalMama Well, it sounds just like something I did in NYC that went through a MSC, but not through the boards. I do really hope it comes back.
