BJ's Brewhouse

I landed a shop next month across the street. A friend and I went to the restaurant when it first opened a few months ago. What is the report like? This will be my first restaurant report for this MSC. How does it compare to Texas Roadhouse?

Very easy. Did one last night and another tonight. Have a third on Thursday.

I think it's easiest using the Mobi App. If it's dine in, you can do half of it while waiting for your food.
Thanks everyone! This is a bar shop.

I've never done one, either, but I want to try the age-compliance shop. My son is 21 and he's interested in doing this with me. The nearest one is about 20 miles away, but from what I hear on this board, the food's worth it.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
I like their wines. They have a large menu with a lot to choose from.

The rib eye is excellent!

I'm cutting down on red meat, but wow -- that sounds too good to pass up.

I love my BJ's doing one next week (take out), they shortened the reports awhile ago, good food, good report, win win.

BJ's report is so easy that I usually think I've left something out.

Thanks Irene! I know you shop them on a regular basis.

They have a veggie and a turkey burger alternative for those who are cutting down on red meat. If you go on burger discount day (Wednesday here) instead of blowing your whole wad on a steak you can take your family and get their burger specials. They are pretty big so you can do some sharing. Monday pizza day at half price is also a good deal for a family affair. I find their crust too much bread but they have told me I can customize the thin crust variety...never tried it though. Or if you score a bar job the happy hour specials can be whole meals.

I like them-easy t do. I'll be sad when my 2 decoys for the decoy shops age out in August and September...
Whenever I do a restaurant shop, I portion the meal out and take home leftovers for the next few days. Luckily, this is a bar shop.

With the Rib Eye, I order it medium rare because it's the curbside. Then, I slice 3/4 of it super thin (I still have my little fish fillet knife that is 20 years old) and I can make 3 oh so good sandwiches for lunch. It's such a treat. Then I toss in whatever veggies I've picked up from the Kroger shops and throw in a drink from the gas station shops. Shopping is so much fun!
I love eating at BJ's but I haven't scored a shop there yet. I've got apps in for June so I've got my fingers crossed.

What's done is done. An egg cracked cannot be cured.
There are 3 kinds of lies. Lies, Damn lies, and statistics.
Their beer is my favorite. I haven't seen this on any MSC, however. Any hints for which one?
I'm on a wings kick. Has anyone tried their wings?

I was thinking about doing a BJ's bar integrity shop. I am of age. Do I need to take a guest with me or can it be a solo shop? Thanks!
Oh to be a mystery shopper under 30 years of age! I envy you as there are so many easy money making opportunities out there for ID verifications. I just checked the job guidelines (you can read them before selecting the shop) and it seems to clearly indicate that you or your guest must be under 30. I did not read anything that says you can't do it alone. At my advanced age, I can only do the dining room shops and sometimes go alone for those. You will have $35 for your food and drink. Enjoy!
I have no one the required age and they have so many, bummer...I wait for the normal or take-outs, always get it, been doing it for 11 years and never get tired of their BBQ Chicken salad (good for two meals), taco's, double bone pork chop over mashed potato's, the menu is endless...just not their pizza fan, but their pizooki, gets a yes....

I am sad that the coupons are not so good anymore. Gone are the days of the $10 off $35. The last times which are further apart were off $45. And lately the specials have been for a half price meal when you buy one. Not nearly as nice as the $10 off 35 which worked so perfectly with our $35 reimbursement.
Monday night is 1/2 off pizza night. If you go on pizza nights ever, get the tavern cut because they are thinner. The regular pizza is so thick it makes Chicago style look thin, ugh waaaayyy too much bread. Thursday night I think is rib night, pretty good ribs...I love the curbside ones the best.

No, it's done alone..but I haven't done one there in ages, use to do them all the time (alone).
