My hero citations show up. My citation for recognizing the new parameters for privacy shows up.

But do the flake citations show up as well?

I guess it would depend on the internal policy of each MSC. I assume notes can be added in the background so they would be invisible to the shopper, but not schedulers or other staff.

It made no difference. I have done almost 2000 shops for BARE and have made at least $50,000, probably much more.

I think that they do with Intellishop too.

I had an issue with my email for 2 weeks over 5 years ago. I could not access anything thanks to the Microsoft Store for adjusting my settings.

It has made exactly ZERO difference with Intellishop too.

Yeah, I got a hero citation from Intellishop just this past week, but since I already had a "10" average score and have done 100s of shops, it made no impact.

Oh, but on the subject of Intellishop, LOL at this--I did two shoe store shops that were online purchase and pickup in the store scenarios (YAY for free shoes). On the report form at the time of submission, they had two upload boxes for two of the email screenshots. I emailed my scheduler asking why there wasn't an upload for the purchase receipt provided in the store at the register, and he said it wasn't needed. After submitting the shop, they added more upload boxes so that shoppers could submit the purchase receipts and I got an email from the editor requesting my receipt uploads. I uploaded them and noticed they didn't change a word of my narratives and assumed all was well. Guess what? I got an "8" on both shops because they had to contact me!!! Too funny. I emailed my scheduler about it and made it clear I found it humorous and that it was not going to affect my overall rating at all (it would take a lot of "8" scores to do that) but just thought he should know. He said they should not have dinged me since I did them on a certain date before the upload boxes were added, but that he could not change the proofreader's scores--he gave me a hero citation anyway.

Just thought I would share.

Funny he said the score could not be changed. I had a situation where they contacted me in error. After complaining the score was adjusted back to a 10.

Yeah, this was two days ago...IDK if something has changed since you complained about it or not. I basically just wanted to alert him so he could perhaps contact the proofreaders about so no other shoppers had the same thing happen to them.

At any rate, it's been said so many times that as long as we get paid, who cares? And I got some great Minnetonka sandals that I adore! I got two pair of the same ones, I already have a pair of them I bought last year but I learned a long time ago if you find a pair of shoes you adore, buy at least one other pair of the same shoes. I am set for another decade at least.

I agree as long as we are paid. Most of the time it wouldn't matter much either way. I wish I could recall the exact circumstances because for some reason it just hit me wrong.

Well having upload boxes added after the submission and dinged for it didn't exactly make me a happy camper.

I really don't think the scores matter much, especially an 8. A hero citation, come on! First grade.

Only with MSCs that use the Sassie platform (reporting platform). There are several companies that use this platform, like Intellishop for one.

A hero citation in theory was supposed to help shoppers and schedulers, alike. The idea was to let schedulers and the MSC's know the shopper was dependable and go the extra mile, figuratively and literally. My hero citations were because I filled in at the last minute because of flakes and I literally drove hundreds of miles for my scheduler without a decent bonus.

I drove those miles because that particular scheduler was available 99% of the time. I could call and tell her I could get somewhere and she would bonus the entire day, when I only wanted a minimal bonus for the 3 additional locations. She was good to me, so I was good to her. A good scheduler remembers later down the line. And I've been lucky enough that I've had fabulous schedulers. There are a couple that aren't from RBG, but my best schedulers work for RBG. (Reality Based Groups). RBG doesn't have one scheduler that I am willing to say a disparaging remark, even when we don't see eye to eye.

Unfortunately, hero citations were abused and turned out to be essentially getting a trophy for just showing up. Many schedulers would offer multiple hero citations to take on the work.

Have the citations given me the opportunity to get new jobs?, NO! Have I been able to name my price for jobs that are in the middle of nowhere?, NO!

I get work and bonuses by building relationships with my schedulers. Proving to the schedulers that I do my work at the best of my abilities gets me work and bonuses. Don't let anyone kid you, my routes and bonuses came from the fact I did the shops that are extremely hard to fill.

The best way to build your reputation; is do the work you contracted, Learn from the experienced shoppers on this board; I'm not one of them.

Good luck with mystery shopping. There are days when it can be extremely rewarding on a personal level as well as financial. And then there are other days when you decide a shop needs to be on a 10ft. pole and is a royal PITA in general.
