that was the first time that happened to me after hundreds of visits. the thing is, in the past when i would do my prompt, it was always after they asked "is there anything else i can help you with?" by then, my account wasn't pulled up anymore, so they wouldn't be able to note it. for these visits, when you go in just to ask something, they pull your account up, so it's easy to note. it's probably just that particular question. just go with questions that won't have them asking to pull your account up.

So.... another bank that is scheduled by the same MSC had me fuming today. You know the one... two letters. Anyway I made a deposit and used a check from my other/main bank. The teller said "Why do you have 2 checking accounts"? She continued by saying, "You should have all of your accounts here". She again pressed me for an answer. Had it not been a shop I would have closed the account on the spot. Too sensitive? Probably.
