But what is your actual monthly income after expenses?
Depends on how far away my shops are, or how long the routes are. Assuming $0.13 a mile for gas, another $0.10 per mile for routine maintenance, 2,000 miles a month costs me
ROUGHLY $500.
However, my last W-2 job was 50 miles away, 100 miles roundtrip, and I did that every working day, 5 days a week. So I put 2,000 miles on my car every month, and no one paid me a DIME for time or mileage for the commute. AND it was NOT tax deductible!
Plus I had to be on someone else's clock....hate that, just hate it.
As a self-employed person, if I'm too exhausted to work any more today, I take a break. If it throws off my schedule, I reschedule stuff. If I don't feel well, or have some horrid crisis, I reschedule.
Those things don't have dollar signs attached, but are worth a great deal to ME. YMMV!!!!
