Will my report be rejected?

So I had a report for a bistro shop yesterday. It was a simple dine in shop. Everything was fine except I could noy eat the sandwich. For some reason the bread for the sandwich was extremely tough. Everytime I went to take a bite it was a literal struggle to eat. I maybe ate 1/3 of the sandwhich before I gave up and just focused on the dessert.

The server noticed and asked if I wanted a to go box but I declined because I wasnt sure if this would allowed on the shop. To my surprise the manager voided my sandwich order and when I asked why she said since I did not like this sandwich and didnt finish it it was voided. She even added that next time I will hopefully enjoy a another sandwich there.

Im confused and worried if the report will be rejected for this. I did note in my report that I did not ask for a void.

You should be fine. This has happened to other shoppers for various reasons and has been reported on this forum. The MSC normally pays your fee (if there was one) and reimburses you for the actual amount spent. If this is not the case, I would definitely challenge it.
Or even better, offer to re-shop it. You usually do not get reimbursed for food that was comped.
Now, you know.

ETA: this happens a lot to me. A few times a year, some guy buys my meal or picks up my bar tab. I had to quit doing the bar lunch jobs for awhile. (I'm no supermodel, but men find me approachable for some reason. Women do too, but they don't usually pay my tab.)

Okay an update. My shop was graded, approved, and submitted to the client. I love this MSC!
Thanks SoCalMama and kenasch for your replies.

I'm just here to throw in a "hubba hubba" LOL That would suck if you were trying to do a shop and someone tried to pick you up by paying for your drink/meal. Good thing I am solidly ugly and also male. Super safe on bar shops. LOL
