Field agent app scavenger hunt

Is there any advice for completing Field agent scavenger hunt shops? They pay ok but i fell like the description is vague and would be hard to find.

Let me know if you find one! I've never seen these items.

If you happen to be at the store, go look, but I would not make a special trip.
After getting lucky on a couple, I quickly learned how frustrating even the most obvious UPCs can be to find. I figure there are some calendar or regional differences. Likely things that end up on the SH are older to start with. I am not sure if the UPC differs if it came from a different producer or distribution center. I never had formal merchandising training to know how it works. Sometimes, it is a matter of the store mix. I remember a regional super center's Easter basket assortment. I was close to the UPCs, but the mix in my are and markets, which I checked as I was inside, not running around to the locations chasing after it, never had the precise one.
Other items I get lucky from recognizing those small imported brands that might be in the independent markets. I have a lot of those around me that I shop in sometimes anyway, depending on errands.
It can drive you crazy looking though. I don't try too hard. I get selectively lucky I think because I choose to scan certain categories selectively and recognize the likely retailers to have certain things in the mix if it is not store specific.
When I worked at Target and had access to their internal system to search, I still could not find any of the Target items. Most of the items had already gone to "salvage", which means that are no longer for sale and have been donated. In my area, they went to Goodwill (where they were sold for a higher price than they were at Target).
I only do the Buy and Try section of the Field Agent app. They pay well, and I've gotten to try hair products and breakfast foods for free (reimbursement) plus a little pay.
IMHO, the scavenger hunt is a total waste of time. Never found a single product.

However, I live in a rural area; it's not like I regularly shop these stores, anyway. If I lived close by and shopped in the store, I might try it.
