Good deal. By coincidence, each of my 5 AMEX cards had the Five Guys $5 off $20 AMEX Offer, ended up getting assigned an online shop with a milkshake AND also have some cheese in my office fridge. All-around great deal and bonus. Today is a good day, especially for my arteries grinning smiley

Very infrequently shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado these days.
Every time I do the Five Guys shop, I tell myself - it's the last time! But whenever I really, really need money, I would do another one.. The thing is - the report takes forever to fill out, it's the most time-consuming I've seen so far, takes even longer, than Hooters. Considering Hooters paying $20 for the huge detailed report, $6 Five Guys is definitely not worth it. I think it's good though, that when I just started, my very first shop was Five Guys with a milkshake. Then it took me about 8 hours to report it (with breaks on feeding family and dogs and other chores), I was almost late. All the reports for any other shops after that seemed like a summer breeze. Now it takes me 3-4 hours to report Five Guys online. Much better, than 8, but still not worth it.
Tarantado I am laughing (perhaps inappropriately) at the bring your own cheese idea. Ppl who know me would poo a cow, if they saw me pull cheese out of my LV's and slap it onto a burger.
Hooters report took me 15, maybe 20, minutes. Not sure what you're spending that much time on.

My typical weekday outfits on days I’m not biking to work to conserve the life of my vehicle consists of my favorite long LV wallet, shined up Allen Edmonds shoes and fanny pack when I store my portable scale and cheese. Fortunately this is an online shop, so I can save time and just eat in my office today.

Sounds like a hoax. Be sure to see if that is in their instructions. If not, better stick with the instructions. There are quite a few scams out there that look legit, but not really. Always check to see the senders email to the text if it is really from them and not some other person phishing you,.

What's a hoax?

The AMEX Offers? If that's what you're referring to, then no, they are legitimate and from AMEX themselves....

I just checked this morning and yes, it's legit from American Express. They had the same deal last year. My question is this. Has anyone ever done a 5 guys with anyone with you. Did you pay for it all together? I know I would have to order first, then put their order in. The guidelines state if anyone is with you, you have to order first even if they are paying separately. Does not say it can be on the same receipt. Has anyone ever been rejected because of this?

The Five Guys report is quick. 10 minutes or so for me. Are you sure you dont have it mixed up with another shop?
I can't understand how it takes you 3-4 hours for 5 guys? You only have to send in a receipt, no pictures to download. The report to me is short, I agree with 10 minutes, 15 tops.
I've done Five Guys with someone. We paid separately. I didn't want what they purchased on my receipt just in case I wasn't suppose to. I always try to keep my purchase separate from anyone else unless the instructions actually say the shop is for two or more people.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.
Thanks, I did send an email for support and the good news is that it can be on one receipt. Just be sure to break out what you ordered for yourself (burger, drink, fries plus tax for those items). That would be the only dollar amount you report. If ordering a shake you have to break that amount plus tax out anyway. I want to take advantage of the $5.00 off $20.00 offer that I saw on my American Express site, but just purchasing for myself I would never spend $20.00. Please note the American Express offer is not a hoax. You have to have the card, and use the web site. When I go on they have a list of offers (usually about 75) that you can cash in on. I've used them and had no problems. Just be sure the offer is connected to your account before purchase.
A milkshake and a drink are required. Sorry. I will down a few sips of the shake. I am lack of nutrition intolerant.
Won't do it for less than $18.00 plus reimbursement. Takes me about 30 minutes to do the report, less if the server didn;t lag.
You buy the soft drink for the dining room and then on the way out to buy a shake to go, no suspicions from that since you are bringing a shake to someone who was not with you if asked.
