This Christmas, I'm Thankful For ... (Recipe Posted)

I'd like to hear what you are thankful this year, ESPECIALLY in "shopper" terms.
Tell me what it is about mystery shopping that you are thankful for, then share your list for things outside mystery shopping.

I'm thankful that this is at-will shop with benefits that I like. I'm thankful that show for things I would like to have but don't need and for the opportunity to eat out more frequently at places that are normally out of my budget. I'm thankful that some shops even compliment my travels, making them nicer. I'm grateful for the people I've come to know, both online and in person.

I am also thankful that my family, though not perfect, is the type that has my back at all times. I'm thankful that I am part of a close knit loving family. I am also thankful for my faith, which has not only seen me through hard times, but also puts joy in my heart during good times.

I'm thankful in all things. As this relates to mystery shopping, I am thankful for options, responsibilities, people who are easy to work with, the things I learn, and the payments I receive.

I'm thankful for wonderful, professional schedulers. I'm grateful for the bonuses and income that have allowed me to slowly climb out of debt. I'm thankful for every day I wake up and being able to get through the day. I'm thankful for family and friends, worth more than any riches.

Cure MS, I am thankful that my 89-year-old aunt can still make great pecan pies every Thanksgiving!

I am thankful that I have so many opportunities that fortuitously fall into my lap so often. It's been happening a lot in the last few years. It's wonderful to have great work opportunities come up with so little effort put forth in finding them, and to have the timings work out so well!

......having been fired by Market Force in Nov. of 2010. Within two mos., I lost approx. 25 lbs., my blood pressure dropped and I no longer was in the category of being a near diabetic. I well realize those conditions were of my doing by accepting the FF shops, but, although it is embarrassing to admit, I was actually ignorant of my actions and quite happily surprised at the outcome.

I am thankful that mystery shopping has helped me to do more things for my family. It has been great when emergencies arise like car repairs or vet bills for my cats. I can work from home too. I stumbled across it three years ago and it has fit perfectly with my lifestyle.

I'm thankful I don't shop for Intellishop and have to worry about refunding money during the holiday.

I am thankful to be a part of something great that helps businesses and to be able to make a difference. I am also grateful for being a part of, and having access to, this great forum.

I'm thankful for the extra income that I get from mystery shopping. It's carried my family through a few lean times. I also love that it's so diverse, I can do it when *I* want to do it, and I usually learn something new.

I'm grateful beyond words for having found this forum. I love chatting with people here and getting to know tricks of the trade.

I'm thankful to live in a country that no matter your political belief, you are relatively assured of your personal and financial safety.

Finally, and most importantly, I'm soooo thankful for my wonderful husband and our four kids. They make my life worth living

I'm thankful that I was offered the opportunity to schedule/ edit for Servimer. Being able to earn a decent portion of my income from my couch at whatever time I can fit it in has really been nice for my family.
The owners as well as the president of the company are just amazing, and treat me like family. It's so nice to know your boss actually cares about you.

I am thankful for my spirit, my options within MS'ing, and they still let me do this. My delightful daughter whom I never see enough of, and tells me, Mom, that's why we get along, distance is the star. I'm thankful a special someone came back into my life and his humor keeps me smiling. I'm thankful for Skype and the fact I know how to use it. Thankful for the good food I get and for my Dr's, who give me more than the 15 minute alloted time, when I need to be listened too. The forum and friends I have made, I feel I know many of you and really enjoy being able to participate. Thankful my friends got out of the fire and it didn't come this way.....will be extremely thankful when I win the lottery!!!!....

I am thankful that MS provides me with a way to be productive without leaving the comfort of my home. I am thankful for all the wonderful people in my life and on this forum. While I have never met a single person on this forum, I love chatting with you all. Having spent nearly 11 years here, I am thankful for the life that my husband and I were able to create here. I can no longer say "away from home" coz this is "Home."

I am thankful for wine, Saskatoon Berry Pie, my dogs , my cats, the cherry tree in my back yard, Honeycrisp apples, my vehicle's CD player, Anne Rice, snow and rain, the ability to give my reimbursements to others (without recognition), and, most of all, my partner of many years, who, through many tries, has become a successful businessperson.

I am thankful for the day I found in a magazine about MSPA-NA and the world of MS opened up for me. I am thankful for the forum because it was through the forum and the members I shopped my first ever shop. I am thankful I am able to contribute towards my familys income in terms of groceries, gas and others. Thankful for you all

Allow to cool, then ENJOY!

I'm thankful that I can set my own schedule with MS'ing and do it when I want. I'm thankful for the money it makes me and the reimbursements I get which helps offset costs somewhere else. I'm thankful for all of the wonderful tips and knowledge I have received through this forum and the great people I can interact with.

* that I've done quite a bit of my Christmas shopping through reimbursements
* for the ability to upgrade my hotel status by simply completing a shop
* for end of the quarter bonuses

I am thankful for my slight memory loss as it allows me to return with yet more thankful thoughts. I am thankful that when I visit my daughter, I am always able to get a good restaurant for a surprise dinner. The $ working puts in my pocket can be spent frivolously on fun things which makes our bond closer and encourages her to talk about her life, as she is closed mouth and private. I am thankful trying to deal with this aging process...ugh,
however, considering the alternative, I am thankful for aging....talk about a challenge.....life has it's bumps in the road, but looking at the good helps. Raising a beautiful, bright, good values daughter is my biggest "I'm thankful".

I am thankful for the few times that all the varied job schedules permit me to do effective, efficient work days. I don't want to do many of these because they fill the entire day! But occasionally, it is good to suck it up, go to the hinterlands and back, and know that the money earned is sufficient to pay for a few free days in which to relax or do something else.

I'm thankful for the pet food shops that have fed community cats healthy food all year. The funds saved have gone to trap neuter release and community cat vet bills.

Oh thank you!!!! I just saw this. I'm printing it off for my husband, who does all of the cooking. He made two pumpkin pies from scratch for yesterday. We'll have this next week.

(Strangley enough, I have lots of bourbon saved up, since when I do integrity shops, I cannot drink 9-12 shots in a night. There's no way I am dumping $15 shots of bourbon in a bathroom sink. Any mixed drinks, I drank on the spot.)

Hi SoCal - let me know if you like the pie - and be honest. It took me several tries to get the mix of bourbon, butter, and brown sugar to where I really like it. It's a matter a taste and some people know how to really tweak it.
