Someone hasn't been dumping his required purchases during bar visits!

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.
An e-mail was indeed sent out for a shop requiring ones' head to be examined for lice.
Just when you think you've come across every possible mystery shopping scenario.

I have gotten that email multiple times. Today's was funny, it was like one of those "fun and easy" emails.
That takes the cake, I thought when I was asked to send the MSC a picture of my eyebrows so I could do the job,
that was weird, this beats that. Can they see lice in a pic...just asking?

Live consciously....
$1 bonus if you infect yourself with lice and the employee catches it.

If the pay was high enough and it didn't have some goofy scenario -- you could always say you're a teacher or daycare worker etc.

I swear the eye brow pictures were harder to take than the dreaded pizza photos!
Many, many years ago, Intellishop had shops for restroom checks that included using a handheld mirror to take photos of the toilets' flush holes, among other things. Fortunately, they were all scheduled for the day after the cleaning company had been there for their very thorough cleaning. Yes, I did some. Back then, I tried just about anything....shutter, shutter, shutter

@MsJudi

I truly thought you were talking about an enema shop. My fault for assuming. Hahahahahah

Edited to spell your handle correctly and apologize

With my luck, the employee would re-use dirty gloves or something and infect me with lice. Yuck.

Yuck! And knowing the MSC it probably didn't pay that great. I think this would be another one that's in my 10 foot pole list!
They are paying $30, advertised "make $90 in 90 minutes." It was totally deceptive. You need to do three shops in wildly different areas, it would take four hours of driving alone, minimum. This is not 90 minutes. Then, you have the actual shop and the reports. I dislike it when they skew the facts like this.

This! Kind of like my recent thread on the purchase return deception I posted earlier. I wish schedulers were straight forward as to what they are selling or they make accurate guidelines available before I accept. I hate bait and switch!
I work in NYC preschools and one year, one of the schools kept having outbreaks. It was one family that had a child in preschool and 2 or so older children, that kept spreading to the entire school. When I was leaving for the day, I tried to find the nurse to check my head. She wasn't in, but the parent coordinator who had been checking tons of kids and was supposedly an expert said she'd check my head. She told me I had lice eggs. I freaked. I told everyone who had been to my apartment recently, canceled my afternoon students & a team meeting, bought tons of lice B gone type of stuff at the store, went home covered my head in a shower cap, stripped the sheets, and waited until my appointment with one of the lice ladies of Brooklyn. I did not have lice. That ridiculous parent coordinator... I wonder how many kids she was sending home with lice who didn't have it. I am paranoid now though and always keep my hair back when working with kids, which is 7 days a week at the moment.

I would sign up for this shop. Good to have a reliable lice checker nearby in case of another scare!

I wish there were mystery shops for dentists. Years ago when I didn't have insurance, a dentist told me I had 7 cavities, needed to buy special toothpaste from him, and needed a night guard. I got a second opinion, and no fillings or special paste or night guard needed. That crock of a dentist is in a fancy midtown Manhattan building and was going to schedule me for all 7 fillings in the same morning.

Now my head is itchy...
Lice was almost a constant in the schools I taught in, and they were upscale neighborhoods. Kids had to place their coats, hats and belongings in plastic bags when they arrived. Outbreaks occurred often after vacation break. The kids would come back from the islands with their hair braided. I bet a lot of it came from there, as well as, sleepover parties. An invasion is very difficult to get rid of.
