I did a car sales shop last week with a targeted salesperson. Today i received an email thanking me for the positive report and that she never would have guessed I was the shopper.
Do I just ignore the email?

As a car sales person, I have had shoppers reports revealed to me for training opportunities. I am always told to just close the lead, to not contact the customer.
Other than one time, I pretty much identified every shopper ahead of time based on my spider sense.

What if a shopper is actually interested in a car? I did a load of BMW shops since I am considering an M4. Would I be identified as a shopper at the dealerships now? It's going to be weird going back.

My brother had a short shopping career. He shopped a car dealer, was so impressed by the salesman and 8 months later sought him out and bought the car
