I have trouble remembering all parts of the description. In most stores/restaurants if I was not able to provide a note to myself ,which always would include glasses or not ,after the interaction I look back thru the window or from my table if it is a restaurant and find the person and add the complete description. Inside a restaurant I usually have a way to hide a napkin in a book or whatever and write it down.
I would only include glasses if they were actually worn on the eyes. They do not want to know if the person has bad eyes but if the person regularly wears glasses so they can figure out who it is. If the person has them in a pocket or on top of their head or wears contacts it does not indicate to me that person usually wears glasses or even that what I am seeing are actually glasses or maybe just readers worn very occasionally for the type of job they have.
The issue I struggle with is sunglasses. This often is a once in a while thing and the person does not regularly wear glasses. I cannot tell if they are prescription or not so I check yes and then write in the narrative that they wore sunglasses.
