How do I cancel a shop & how will it affect my (perfect) rating?

I emailed the scheduler and she didn't respond. Which will lower my 10 rating more? Doing a shop half-a** or canceling? (The shop needs to be done on 1/19 so I'm not canceling the day of.)
Thanks!

Cancel if guidelines aren't clear. Which msc is it? Somebody here can probably guide you. I always post here if I need clarification.

Oh and by the way. It isn't high scores that get you paid..it is if the client believes you did your guidelines as requested..

Cancelling is really bad unless you have a really good reason, it can affect if you get future shops.

And doing guidelines half ass will affect future shops on top of not getting paid.

You can always call the company directly. If you do a lot of good quality work for them maybe it will not be held against you.
I have had to cancel shops due to chemo or just being plain miserable and exhausted. Probably going to need another bypass in a year or two. Dang, it come to find out that the Oatmeal you are supposed to eat is not supposed to be in the form of Little Debbie Oatmeal Pies.
If you can reschedule a shop that would be the way to go. Contact your scheduler even if they don't respond.
Put in the date that you can shop it or ask if they can get someone else. No need to give reasons why, if your scheduler knows you and you are reliable there should be no problem.
I agree with shopper8, re-scheduling is better for you, if possible, do that....if you give them enough tine, and you have good standing, it is up to the MSC, some are better than others, I'm lucky I have no problem if I have to cancel, Monday it was pouring here and lights were out and trees fell on the college leaving the road closed. I cancelled and did it the next day, no problem.

Live consciously....
