Need help, Scheduler will not respond

I’ve got a shop that is 4 days postdue because I couldn’t upload the report. My scheduler, Kate Rattner will not respond and neither will Ipsos. Any suggestions?

Check the easy and obvious stuff carefully. I have found that it is really easy to leave a question blank on the Ipsos surveys and not be able to find it right away.... Every time my surveys have not uploaded right away through Ipsos, this was exactly the problem. It could as simple as needing to check a box. Have you tried the "check survey complete" button at the bottom of the survey?

I have never worked with Kate, so I cannot help you there. However, Julia from Iposos frequents this forum and might be able to help you out. Sender her a PM: @Juliaishopforipsos. She is listed on the Ipsos site as a "scheduling coordinator" and tries to help with various issues when she checks in here.

Kate responded once and said I had to take the certification before I could upload the report. There was no regular box shop test available. I took a few other certification tests but it still didn’t work. How do PM Julia?
Click on your name above. The drop-down menu has a "private messages" option.

There is a regular box shop certification. I've taken it many times..... It mentions the client in its title and ends iwth "Regular Box Certification."

I have recently taken and passed the regular box shop. Maybe you already passed it? If so, it will be listed under "Completed" tab.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
Luann,

Might I ask that you edit your message here? I replied to you a few times over the weekend, as was discussed in our MANY emails today AND the problem was taken care of. I'd be happy to have several shoppers who post on here frequently vet for the fact that I not only respond, but usually do so in a timely fashion. I do not appreciate the slander.

Thank you!

Luann -

The advice we can provide you is only useful if you give an accurate description of the situation. Folks on here want to be helpful, but if you misrepresent the situation, not only is our advice invalid, but you can come across poorly.

Schedulers and various MSC representatives watch this board. In this business, your word is everything. If you misrepresent them on a public forum, how can you expect them to trust the veracity of your reports - especially if the client questions them? Consider, also, that schedulers often work with multiple companies, so if you misrepresent one online, you could find yourself burning bridges with multiple MSC's.

I have, to my memory, never worked with Kate. However, I believe I have gotten emails from her advertising jobs with several MSC's. Ipsos has treated me very well - as it has quite a few shoppers on this board. It's not a company I would want to ostracize.

I also did not get a response from a scheduler after 4 attempts and I believe that I asked for advice here. I did not name the scheduler nor the company. I just would not do a shop for that scheduler again. I like the company and the other scheduler that I have worked with. So, it is probably not the best idea to name names. To each their own though.
I've had good experiences with Kate. I did some shops with Mercantile and Coyle (which Kate also schedules for) and she was really responsive and helpful.

I have worked with Kate with different MSC's and she has always replied quickly, is professional and knowledgeable. I enjoy working with her; she makes me want to do as much as I can for her.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.
I’ll also vouch for Kate (and Dave). They are pretty much available at least 18 hours a day.
I have been a shopper for the past 15 years and I’m discussed to see the post regarding Kate Rattner. She is hands down an amazing scheduler and goes above and beyond for her shoppers. I make sure I always accept her assignments and when there is a question she is superior with responding. Schedulers have lives of their own and let’s face it they work multiple companies with lots of shoppers to accommodate and it’s not easy.
You guys are all making me blush! Seriously I know I’m not perfect, but I try to do my best and answer in a timely fashion. I work 7 days a week for the most part because I know you all do too and sometimes you need those answers right away. As @MFJohnston mentioned please email me with concerns. I’m much more likely to respond in a positive manner than if you post my name all over forums, FB, and email clients and bosses. Especially if the information provided in these venues is false!

Thank you!

I have never had an issue with Kate, she responds quickest if you text her rather than email though
Dear Luann,
Word to the wise as I see you are a newer shopper and we have all been there.... we panic atone point or another when we are starting off, but usually we are panic ping over nothing. We are unfamiliar m in new territory, etc, use this forum for guidance. Many schedulers, and clients read these posts. I would advise refraining from using schedulers names if your not admonishing them. A simple, does anyone know how I can reach a scheduler who I have been unable to reach would suffice. If you go to the companies site there is usually guideance. Be creative, if for some reason it’s an emergency and I haven’t been able to reach a schedule say for instance with this company, I would try reaching out to another scheduler, sometimes they can reach a fellow scheduler quickly. I remember panicking years ago over a bonus I was promised, and I was really upset. In the meantime a scheduler was calling asking for me to do another long distance shop, I ended up quitting, one schedulers even said they were going to write in my file since I said this was horse crap..., best advice I can give us pause, think before you write something, call, respond, etc. The schedulers are working 1000’s of shops... so keep that in mind when writing. Be appreciative to everyone, without our schedulers, editors, etc we would not have shops to do.
If you were required to take a Certification Test, you wouldn’t be able to open the report let alone be able to enter anything.
Kate is a great scheduler, had you taken the certification test, you wouldn't be having this problem....your report won't be accepted without the test beforehand. Maybe if you take the test, and re-schedule, you'll be o.k.

Live consciously....
