Account Issue E/M Card

Here is an interesting bit of news: I have been doing the E/M gasoline station shops for quite some time. I have used their rewards program cards as part of the program, using the card when it was the one version and then in July of last year when it switched over to the new version.
As part of the shop routine, specifically the rewards program, we as shoppers are supposed to note if we were asked by the gas station employee or at the pump itself for the rewards card or if we were asked to join the program.
Of late, when swiping my card I have been asked to call E/M customer assistance. No points were given.
I did call and learned that my potential points accrued were being denied because of multiple swipes in one day!
Wasn't that the point of the MSC's mystery shop program?

Has anyone else had the problem of having your reward card terminated while you were buying gas at multiple stations per day? The first time it happened I just got another new card. Then it happened again. Customer service says it's the station manager who blocks the card. How would the station manager know that I already bought gas somewhere that day? I don't know. What have any of you heard about this? Is there a workaround? If not, the whole reward system is pretty much useless. It angers me because it was only a few dollars but it was my money, as I see it.
I use my credit card for mystery shopping only. On Presidents' Day, I had 4 shops at different Shells. I called customer service and let them know that I would be at 4 different stations making 2 purchases at each station.

I mean the reward program that took the place of Plenti. And it never happened before this month.
Yep, I raised this issue on a different thread.

Account Issues E/M Card

The report does not ask whether the reward card works, especially at the pump. But the shop instructions state that we can use it at the pump. Why penalize us for buying $5 of gas at 5 stations but not for $25 of gas at just one. This makes no sense and I think it is not fair. I can only figure that E/M does not want shoppers to earn points because we are the ones most likely to use the card several times a day for small amounts. I think they have set this restriction specifically for us.
You are allowed to swipe your card up to 15 times per day. My card was blocked before. I called the customer service line and it was explained that you can only swipe the card up to 15 times per day and anything over that will get the card denied/blocked. If the card is blocked it is up to the manager at the last station you swiped at to have the card unblocked. I would just get a new card.
I once was at a shop where I saw the attendant at the gas station swipe a rewards card (hers, I think) after a customer rushed in and handed a $20 to put on a certain pump.
Sounds like the customer service and E/M make up the rules as they go. One card was blocked after 7 uses and the other only 5.
Plot twist. So, I go to E/M on personal time to make an in-store purchase and test the reward card hoping to get the problem solved. Cashier scans the card and says it works fine but I have no points which means it is less than a dollar's worth. I was sure there was more and asked if her screen was showing any issue message. She said no. When I got the receipt, there it was, clearly printed on the bottom where the points should have been, " Account issue, please call..." No one has any idea how this thing works and definitely make up rules and answers as they go.
I have a feeling the “excessive use” rules are in place to prevent employees from swiping a personal card numerous times each day.
That makes sense. I didn't realize employees could be multiple swipers as well as mystery shoppers.
