This is a scam.

Definitely a scam. I don't think CVS is mystery shopped anymore. The only CVS shop I've seen before is conducting an in-store customer survey on a tablet.

There are so many Scam clues in the email that I lost count - and it was a short email.
Got the same email from Robin@ctcss.com and she texted me from 831.223.1093. Her name came through as Robin Upchurch.
P.S. I am so thankful that I can come to this website and
check if companies and shops are legit. Thank you to everyone who posts!
Wow. I got that email too. And it appeared to come from a real CTCSS scheduler with a real CTCSS email, although if you hit the reply button that's not the email it came to. I wonder if they got hacked somehow.

I forwarded the email to the real scheduler email. Got a response thanking me and saying they were going to report the whole affair.

It did not feel right. I am glad I posted here to confirm my gut feeling. Thanks, everyone!

Kathy, not sure but guess you can post the real Robin's email Address here? Robin@ctcss.com? I wanted to forward it but didn't want it to go back to the scammer. Initial email appeared to be from Robin but I could only see the bogus emails
in subsequent ones. I have another weird email that I would like to forward to her.
With so many scams around, it is frustrating but understandable, when real shopping firms are accused of scamming. What we try to do is the following. 1. make sure they know our email addresses, 2. Ensure they know we have a real phone number, 3. make ourselves available to answer questions, 4. follow through on anything we promise.

Now, we know there are payment issues. We try to resolve these as soon as possible BUT we expect our shoppers to be honest, not submit falsified data, ensure they understand the pay structure and have them send over their payment instructions ASAP so we can pay them.

These don't always work out but we try!

Always keen to hear thoughts or feedback on improvements in terms of scamming so feel free to PM us or email at assignments@movie-measure.com

Thanks
My scam mail 'came' from Tiffany at CTCSS (tiffany@ctcss.com)

That fake email is better than most. There is a Tiffany at ctcss. I had to look twice.
"$60"?? I was only offered $40 for shopper pay. I feel like I'm being cheated!

Oh, wait....
I forwarded the message to a real scheduler email as well. I guess we can all be thankful that the scammer's email itself had quite a few clues that it was fraud.I hope nobody falls for it.

So I felt odd about this but I signed up because i was curious. I looked at the form they sent to fill out the info from the shop, because it just felt off to me. I stopped when the form to fill out wanted a photo of the back of the giftcard with the scratch off panel removed.

No thanks.

BTW, the first email was from a "Tiffany Perkins" (tiffany@ctcss.awsapps.com)
Here's the form if you're curious.

THANKFUL FOR THIS FORUM.
The awsapps.com address is just an Amazon work email that anyone can get. It's like a gmail or hotmail account.

It was much better than most.

My email was from Tiffany Stewart Perkins:
tiffany@ctcss.awsapps.com

I was sent the link to the form:
[form.jotform.com]

I was also sent the IC agreement to be signed with Market Analytics Int’l. I’ve actually done a Research study with Market Analytics Int’l in the past (and I was referred by an ms scheduler). It was real and I got paid. Maybe I should forward the email to them as well since they are using real schedulers’ names and a real company?

I got so excited that I exchanged a few emails with the “scheduler”/scammer. sad smiley
I don’t think I can attach the IC agreement form since it’s a Word document.

I got it today.

I received a similar email today which supposedly came from Tiffany Perkins. She gave her email address as tiffany@ctcss.awsapps.com. There is a Tiffany who works for Coast to coast Scheduling Services, but her email address is tiffany@ctcss.com. I almost fell for this, but I sent an email to Tiffany@ctcss.com, and she said it is a scam.
