I was raised the same way. Trust me, that will power did not happen overnight. My ex-husband was the kitchen trash can. Looking at him made me reevaluate my relationship with food. I don't eat when I am not hungry, hence I control my portions.
Yes, the shake was amazing. Two sips was all I needed. There was no need to bring it home with me. The same for the fries.

How do you have the will power to throw a delicious shake in the trash for no reason whatsoever other than just to avoid the calories??? My mom instilled in me "clean plate syndrome". It has taken me years to leave food on my plate and put it in the microwave or throw away.

Most of the time I am not going home immediately, as I tend to group multiple shops in the same area for the same day. It might be 3 hours after the shop before I go home, so I wouldn't want to try to refreeze a milkshake sitting for 3 hours in my car (especially now that summer is here). And I really don't have an issue with drinking the whole thing anyway!!!!

You mean that week's shops or next week's shops? The latest I've ever seen a shop is on Tuesday for the previous Thursday-Sunday and that one I think went for $75.

On my shop last week I only had about one third of the milk shake and brought the rest home. Put it in the freezer and had it last night. I let it defrost for about 30 minutes and it was a delicious dessert. Sort of half way between a milkshake and a frozen custard. I do the same thing with Shack Shake.

That seems......odd.
For it to be a previous week's shop there would also be a shop listed for this week.
For example if the location at 5 Main Street didn't get the 11:15 - 3:15 shop done for June 6th-9th, tomorrow there would be both a shop on the board for the 13th (because they usually only show 1 date for the late ones) for 11:15-3:15 AND a shop for the same location for the 13th-16th for the same time period?
I have honestly never seen that happen. I can't imagine they wouldn't give $150 for one that late.
