Chipotle's Veggie Bowls are Now Over $10.00 - Time to Raise Reimbursement?

Used to be ~$7.99.

I think mine was $10.05 last visit.

Really? I live in Ohio and they’re around $7. I’ve never seen them at $10. Even the steak ones are under $10 around here.

Yeah, it was within the past two months. I have my receipts from there from many months ago.

Earlier this year (March, April), I saw $7.xx veggie bowls. Just last month in June, I got the $10.xx bowl. I was shocked, but nope, it was right there on the receipt and the cashier said I was short after offering a $10 bill thinking I'd get change.

I made another thread on FG burgers going up too. Others said they hadn't. I guess it's all about LOCATION. I'm hoping everyone's goes up, so the MSC will be more pressured to raise rates/reims across the board. winking smiley
The bowl/burritos are $8.75 near me now. When I first started eating Chipotle in 2004, they were $5.50.

I don't know who the new msc is so I've been paying out of pocket again.
I just checked prices online for my local Chipotle. The bowls run from $7.25 to 8.25 so with tax that would be a bit over $9 for the steak one. If they have delivery where you live you can easily check current prices by going to their website and start a delivery order. The current price is right there.
I do not know who does the current shop. Does the reimbursement cover the required items at the above rates and is there a fee as well? I won't bother even to find the company if not.
I don't do Chipotle, but Five Guys. The reimbursement (for a non-milkshake shop) is $12.75. The guidelines tell you to order a veggie sandwich or grilled cheese to stay within the reimbursement. Hello?? This is a BURGER JOINT. You *can* stay within reimbursement if you order a Little Cheeseburger, but if you've done a full day's shopping you might be hungrier than a little cheeseburger.
I frequent Chipotle on my own dime in Seattle - which tends to be pretty expensive - and have never seen any of their items for more than $9.25. I am currently routing in Oregon and stopped at a Chipotle for a late lunch. Staring at the menu, I see the veggie bowls are $7.25 here. Did you order a drink or chips that you typically skip? $10 seems very high...

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.

No, just a veggie bowl, MFJ. The service member even specifically asked me to load up on as much gauc as I wanted, since it was free with the veggie bowl. I know I didn't get any extra toppings or anything like that.
I pay close to $12 for a sofritas or veggie bowl and a drink ($11.83)

Now I get two tacos that are close to $7 and skip the drink.
Chipotle is being shopped again? I assume with a different MSC. I will need to search around. At least the former MSC fully reimbursed.
