I feel your pain. I considered doing video shops and purchasing the PV500, but it took forever to find a top that had button placement where it needed to be and also had to be black buttons (so PV500 black button would match up). I went to the Greyhawk website where they sale and lease the equipment and they have a link where you can take the classes and get certified. Company that does the classes and certification only does a handful each year and they are at random larger cities..so for most of us it would mean travel, hotel, etc. added on to the cost of equipment. I saw some postings on facebook of women with larger breasts doing video shops - they showed the video from the camera perspective and also showed a video of the women walking....lots of jiggling and even more for those that wore high heels. When every shop I have seen posted required the PV500, I finally put the video shop idea on the back burner. I didn't want to be out all that money and shops rejected.
Since you already have the pen - does it have a clip? If so, you can clip it above a button and it go sideways and try using the velcro under it if necessary. You can test drive all kinds of scenarios at home sitting in a chair and talking to someone in another chair or pretend someone is in the chair and see how you have to angle the pen. Same for standing - do it in front of the mirror and figure out how to angle the pen. I would think the eyeglasses would be the best bet ...but I have not found an MSC that will accept anything but the PV500
Let us know which companies you have done shops for that will allow us to use the pen, glasses, hat, etc.
Good luck!
