Tips for video image stable when recording & walking Pen Style camera

before you say it i am NOT getting the PV500. i am simply not spending that amount. i have successfully done maybe 15 video shops with cheaper alternatives but i want to get comfortable with a different style device.
i am short 4' 8" with D cup boobs - pen devices have a weird angle and/or jiggle considerably. i am actively trying to build my arsenal of tricks to camouflage etc. Does anyone have any tricks for keeping the image steady (more still) when walking? Maybe another way to wear a pen style camera? I taped it to my torso once but neglected to consider multiple factors so that was a fail.
and my husband has already told me all the boob jokes i can handle so please real suggestions only. thank you

I am trying to figure out where you put the pen that your boobs affect it. In a shirt pocket? Button cams are held in place with velcro. Have you tried that? You could put a small strip of velcro on the pen and then sew a small strip inside the pocket of your shirt to attach it to. It shouldn't move very much if at all.

I enjoy awkward questions and uncomfortable silences. This gas station pavement is $%^@*#& hot.
yes, that is correct. i used a button down with a pocket. the pocket doesn't sit as it would if i had a smaller cup.
i tried to make the pen stand upright independently of the pen clip that sits on the pocket rim. to me it was obvious but maybe i am overthinking. to me it sticks out like a sore thumb but i will have to field test i guess to see if anyone else notices. velcro. i got some of that. thanks
You could also try a minimizing bra.

I'm curious what video MSCs take video from a pen camera?

There are reasons that a body stays in motion
At the moment only demons come to mind
i used other, cheaper devices with no issues (blue booth camera, the key fob, the reading glasses) for multiple apt shops. i have had one shop declined for equipment failure. i see no reason why the pen should be declined. the picture is clear, the sound is perfect, properly synched up. Now if i can just consistently get a whole face not just the foreheads.
That wasn't my question

I feel your pain. I considered doing video shops and purchasing the PV500, but it took forever to find a top that had button placement where it needed to be and also had to be black buttons (so PV500 black button would match up). I went to the Greyhawk website where they sale and lease the equipment and they have a link where you can take the classes and get certified. Company that does the classes and certification only does a handful each year and they are at random larger cities..so for most of us it would mean travel, hotel, etc. added on to the cost of equipment. I saw some postings on facebook of women with larger breasts doing video shops - they showed the video from the camera perspective and also showed a video of the women walking....lots of jiggling and even more for those that wore high heels. When every shop I have seen posted required the PV500, I finally put the video shop idea on the back burner. I didn't want to be out all that money and shops rejected.

Since you already have the pen - does it have a clip? If so, you can clip it above a button and it go sideways and try using the velcro under it if necessary. You can test drive all kinds of scenarios at home sitting in a chair and talking to someone in another chair or pretend someone is in the chair and see how you have to angle the pen. Same for standing - do it in front of the mirror and figure out how to angle the pen. I would think the eyeglasses would be the best bet ...but I have not found an MSC that will accept anything but the PV500

Let us know which companies you have done shops for that will allow us to use the pen, glasses, hat, etc.

Good luck!

What equipment are you using just curious?

A Dad shopping the Ark-LA-Tex and beyond.
In defense of larger breasts...I spent about six years looking for nice looking women's shirts with pockets that work as far as placement on the shirt and size for women with more than an A or B cup. Finally found some and bought three of them for mystery shopping. I do not do video shops but wanted to jump in in defense for those of you who are smaller sizes and do not realize. Real pockets on women's clothing aside from outdoors clothing just does not seem to be in style.
one company was clear evals. i don't have elaborate recording keeping so there is another company but i cannot recall the name.

i have reading glasses and a bluetooth sold spycentre.com. both required minor tweeks. i put one of those adhesive felt pads for chair legs on the bluetooth because my chipmunk cheek was in frame. the reading glasses just required me to learn to move my head less (stop nodding etc). I would not look for any other device besides these but the battery is only 50 minutes which ain't great.

thanks for the velcro suggestion. i ended up using a push up bra. the camera is a pen style where the top looks like a pen but the rest of it is wider and obviously not a pen. The push up bra pushes everything tight so there is less jiggle and my boobs hold the camera steady. with a sheer top over the tank top and my bulky necklace no one sees the camera at all. i did 4 tests. i think i am ready to rock.

I have never seen a woman with a pen in her shirt, other than in a lab coat, EVER.
Neither have I.

Unfortunately, vests are no longer in style for men either. Ah, those were the good ole days when I didn't have to worry about the bulge in my shirt from the belt clipped DVR.
